Well I bet it’s a great article but it overshot my attention span after 3 paragraphs :)
There is literally nothing in Pakistan worth dreaming about. It is the arsehole of the world.
Its the liberal woman rape fantasy thing I guess.
Sounds more like a place to avoid at all cost, especially if you are a woman.
A long article but interesting. I’ve seen pics of Pakistan before. Definitely lots of natural beauty.
But given the Jihadi tendencies this country has shown, I think it’d be more dangerous for US tourists than for example the author - who was from Australia.
Hell.....NO!!!!
Yeah...if you want to live on the edge of disaster and death...sheesh...and these people want these “cultures” here!
I have a friend just back from an extended work tour in Pakistan. I will leave other descriptors out just in case anybody is watching. He has some very pungent observations about the place, shared by his coworkers, who regard it as one of the armpits of the world and a real hardship assignment (which is why he volunteered to go; it’s a way of piling up pay and chits for the next assignment and/or towards retirement). But he really, really liked the people. The place should have enormous potential given its location and resources, but it has one of the world’s worst governments, with corruption at a level that boggles the mind and suffocates honest business. It also has too many Muslim crazies roaming around. Those are two huge negatives, and no one has any idea of how to make them go away. But he thought most of the people were terrific. Pakistan is a tragedy of wasted potential. Nowhere is immune from disaster when bad government becomes entrenched, not even the USA, as the Democrats are preparing to demonstrate.
Doesn't promote the agenda of getting rid of Trump, so it's of zero interest.
Forbes: Why Pakistan should be on every solo female travelers bucket list

If it’s a kick-the-bucket list, yes.
I’ve been to Jordan and North-East Bali.
That is about as much Muz as a normal American should ever have to face without being armed.

Nice looking young woman. Has that Rachel Carson “crazy” / “no go” zone sort of look.
seems like a low benefit to risk of harm ratio to me
She sounds like a shoe in for the part of one of the next. Blithering idiots appearing on that 90 day Fiance program that highlights some of the most unstable needy people on earth!!
