President Donald J. Trump is using every tool at his disposal in order to get his America First message across to the American people in the face of massive censorship of conservative speech by Big Tech.
To that end, the 45th President opened a Twitch account, a relatively new streaming service used mostly by gamers to livestream video game play, first reported by Reuters. Twitch is owned by Amazon, which, like most of its Silicon Valley counterparts, is not known for its friendliness towards conservatives. The Jeff Bezos-owned giant has been known to ban and censor conservative books from its online store. But that hasnt stopped Trump.
Thursday night, he rallied in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and more than 200,000 people tuned into the speech on his Twitch channel.
Trumps use of Twitch is an interesting cultural intersection with presidential politics. Gamer culture is deeply embedded within the right-wing and Trump movements. Some even claim that GamerGate, during which far-left game reviewers and journalists worked with a gaming company to bolster the ratings and hype surrounding a relatively disinteresting video game with major social justice motifs, sparked Trumps massive online movement during his candidacy. The gamers were miffed that social justice was encroaching on their recreational activity, which many use as a way to temporarily escape the social justice hellscape that is reality. In a sense, Trump has come home to his younger constituency that exists on the information superhighway.
Trumps Twitch channel has more than 7,000 followers as of Friday. The entire service boasts a user base of 15 million. By contrast, Trump has almost 65 million followers on Twitter alone.
Sill, the move bolsters Trumps online footprint in a time when conservatives are being squeezed by Big Tech.

I’m not on
“Twitter”,,
Would Twitching
be a Winner?
I am only on Twitter to subscribe to Trump’s tweets, which are usually shadow-banned, meaning most of his followers don’t get them.
I don’t know anything about Twitch but I’ll probably join to subscribe to Trump as soon as I can find the right account. There are a lot of fake Trump accounts out there, and the article doesn’t link to it.
The only time I twitch is when I have a muscle spasm.
Don't worry, this is going to have the liberals twitching, then in convulsions.
And not of laughter.
Well, not *their* laughter.
Twitch, same as Twitchy? can’t these people come up with unique names - so many similar. I don’t use or understand most of them, but it guess they are needed since news and print news and online news so biased and not fully truthful.
Think of some names that you think would be good and check if they are already taken.
Dollars to doughnuts they are.
That’s the problem.
there is no trump channel they say it is deleted.
I just searched
“Twitch”,,,
Seems like a
Hundred games
With a Hundred
Gamers on each
All playing
That Game.
Gave me a
Headache!
To bad we don’t have
a “All Trump”
Channel!
I used to be on Twitch when it was Justintv. Justintv was a indy broadcast where anyone could set up a pseudo-”tv station” on the internet and broadcast whatever they wanted: silly 40’s-80’s movies, old cartoons, music videos. Much better than youtube, because there were groups of broadcasters that would take turns ‘casting, so you’d be on different channels every night—wherever the “party” was— Like a live interactive MST3K!
That ended because some stinkers kept posting brand new “in theater” movies—so then they said Justin was changing to Twitch which would ONLY be a gaming channel for gamers to broadcast video games.
Looks like they’ve eased this back to live talking broadcasts, but I’m still bitter about it.
Thanks!
Twitter, IMO, is the greatest communication tool since the invention of the printing press itself.
I get his tweets on Twitter. I don’t know anything about this new thing. Is there anything especially great about it that would make it worth figuring out how to use it?
Other than supporting Trump?
Thanks for that link!

You are probably right. Human beings learn about their world in short pithy statements. And to their credit, a few years back they added live video, which really accelerated Twitter as a learning tool.
President Trump’s twitter feed is the new Drudge Report.
I go to PDJT’s twitter feed first, very morning. Once I learn what Trump is doing and saying, it gives me the greater context and commentary — and the chance to jack my jaws — on Free Republic.
