“Thus, as it is always darkest just before the day dawneth”

Dark ages tend to last around 500 years so it might be a long wait until dawn.

Only if Republicans continue to ban light bulbs.

I think President Trump just tossed that.

The portions of the nation where the wealth is most concentrated entered a new dark age a decade or more ago. The real question is will the portions of the nation not yet engulfed by that dark age allow the continued spread of the disease that caused the current urban and metropolitan dark age.

The root cause is a lack Christian faith. Not Judeo-Christian faith, not freedom to believe anything faith, but faith in Christ as our Savior.

I doubt there are enough serious Christians left in this nation to turn things around rather than saying we need to turn things around then arguing over how much freedom to grant the anti-Christ.

Opinions are like poop chutes, everyone has one, the above is mine.

We haven’t been back to the moon, but we have been very innovative lately, dramatically lowering launch costs and building launch vehicles larger than Apollo, which will take us back to the moon and Mars. All with private enterprise too.

The sun really is just below the horizon.

It's going to be better than okay - looks are deceiving!

There's not enough popcorn for the shock and awe that awaits.

Americans really are the Can-Do People. Watch what America has to give the world. Manifest Destiny and all that. God's got it covered.

It’s true that we could not fly a manned mission to the moon today. We no longer have the rockets, or the infrastructure to build them.

He dismisses the internet by calling it Social Media.

What a fool.

“...the education system has taken over our children and are indoctrinating them with false beliefs.”

Yes. Public schools and state universities/colleges are doing as planned for a century (since proggies John Dewey and Woodrow Wilson). 19A got illogical emo votes in full play, then flappers appeared. Disney got us Bambified. McCarthy tried to woke us. The D’rats built our welfare state. God died. Hollywood and alphabet news are propaganda outlets. TV content standards died. Video games sucked on our young men’s minds. Smartphones feed a variety of immoral behaviors. Our young men are largely directionless and ambition-less. Our young women are largely fat and skanky. Many high schoolers graduate with 8th grade skills. The Ten Commandments are now the Ten Comments. And faggots can pee in women’s rooms.

Being optimistic is hard work these days.

“Being optimistic is hard work these days.”

My SIL is in her 36th year of teaching HS. She said the students are becoming more liberal every year-full of white guilt and climate change and SJW. Her school is suburban and not considered a liberal area. Maybe 15% of her students are what she considers conservative.

I try to be optimistic but the stats say otherwise.

It’s true, we can’t build a dang thing any more. Leftists won’t let us. And righties let them not let us.

How are meth prices? I would think Florida man would be bending the equation toward the demand side.

America has been in "Dark Age" since Clinton was in office.
And it's getting darker.

"Caves and candles. What the left wants." Don't be too sure about candles.

Pariffin -- out, because ... petroleum

Tallow -- out, because ... meat by-product

Beeswax -- out, because ... exploitation of animals

spermaceti -- out, because ... whales

candelilla or carnauba -- out, because ... palm trees

Even if you find an acceptable material -- you can't light it, because ... carbon dioxide.

That’s what scares me - there may one day come a tipping point where ‘Urban America’ comes spilling out into the countryside to flee the Hell of their own making, and bringing their little bags of tricks with them.

Amazingly the war on drugs has increased the purity of cocaine up to 95% while the price has gone down to $30 a gram.
I hope the government starts a war a on loose big busted blonds.

The big city population centers always die. They tax the state to such capital via taxes into these centers. When commerce breaks down due to that burden coupled with crop failure or livestock failure, food doesn’t feed the city.

Imagine all the truckers blocking food to NYC and stopping the trains. In a 10 day period, there would be riots.

By objective standards compared to the past we do suck.

That’s not even arguable.

What are we gonna do about the suckage?
