DURHAM, N.C. — Several shootings have occurred in Durham in the last few weeks, including one Sunday morning.
Police said a man was shot on West Main Street and drove himself to a nearby hospital for treatment. Investigators questioned two men, but no charges had been filed as of Sunday evening.
The shooting came at the start of Bull City Ceasefire Week, which organizers hope will usher in at least a few days of peace in Durham.

“Ceasefire Week”...does that mean left-wing activists lecturing gun owners?
As effective as “a day without a Mexican” day 12-13 years ago. It was to show America how we couldn’t possibly get along without them.
I was having an addition put on my house at the time. One day, “Juan” didn’t show up. I asked Jimmy where he was. Jimmy said, “oh today is a day without a Mexican day so he took off”. The rest of the crew were picking up the slack for Juan and slowed things down, which cost me.
I called the Project Manager, Ed and told him “Tell Juan to enjoy his day off as he’s not working on my house any longer. Get somebody who wants to work to replace him. He’s fired”.
Yeah. Juan taught me a lesson huh?

Arrest violent gun perpetrators and throw away the key. Execute the murderers. There would be no recidivism if the scum were not out on the streets.
Moving back to the people’s republic of nc this week. Hopefully just a couple years, until I can live in a free state again. The criminals are well armed, but I won’t be able to, until I take my class and get my d license.

It’s nice to know that morons are still trying to talk to criminals and assist them in the freedom to be so. What a country!! Where else could people not be required to be a part of society and be awarded the opportunity to present their trade in a free environment with a time designation? Only in America!!!
But won’t criminals be competing to rob and kill at the same time and location. Better unionize. Where’s Jimmy Hoffa when you need him? And you can be sure that if this experiment cuts one category of violence, the libs will say we don’t need guns and we’re back to confiscation. And that will add to more criminals with guns......them.

Around here, (SE Virginia), it’s noteworthy when the shooter isn’t a “person of color”.
What they really need is a “Lock up the bad guys” week. Get the criminals off the street and “gun violence” will take care of itself.
I’m sooooooo glad I left Durham 50+ years ago! It once was a very pleasant place to live.
