Strong men dont understand or respect nuanced, limp-wristed double speak from “leaders” who happen to be black like Obama. They do understand forceful non-ambiguous language from guys that seem a little unpredictable..

Trump, like Rush, uses schtick to goad people.
It’s like locker room humor. You either get the laugh or else think it’s something disgusting to be derided.
Not gonna flame but this tweet is operating on several levels. He’s basically telling Erdogan that if he goes screwing around in Syria then he’s gonna get New Constantinople.
It really isn’t. I realize he is trolling everybody, but to abandon the Kurds is not a good thing.
Erdogan will not listen.
If a Muslim dictator is allowed to crush the Kurds including God knows how many Christians it sends a very dangerous message to the world. A very dangerous message to to the Muslim world.
I hope this damned country is flushed right down the toilet. Maybe then the people / military will overthrow this Islamic lunatic.

The Kurds are Sunni Muslims, and some of this conflict has to do with the usual inter-Muslim fighting. That said, we’ve been supporting them with money and arms for many years now and they were pretty useless. And Trump warned Erdogan off them with brutal economic sanctions that will be more effective anyway.

If Trump ends up laying a trap for Erdogan and we end up gunning Turks, he’ll get re-elected as a wartime President ... BUT Turkey will sign with Russia the day they are kicked out of NATO, and then defeating Iran before they pop an atomic will be much, much harder.
