I am a huge fan of Jim Jordan, but this was not his finest hour. All he had to do to rebut was quote word for word what President Trump said, and that would have completely turned the tables on Stephanopoulos.
One has to wonder if his $75,000 contribution to the Clinton Foundation (Shhhhhh, it was a secret for a while) was payment for his landing his $15 million per year contract with ABC.........
I’m still trying to get my arms around why it should be a problem to ask ANY country to help us investigate corruption — regardless if the person is running for office or not. This is a far distance from asking a country to invent intelligence to overturn an election.

The reason could be that they do not want to give additional video footage to the Democrats for future elections.
The Democrats want such footage so they can use it over and over in future elections.
The Republicans response comes off as a bit lawyerly. However, this will wear off over time as the “crisis” recedes in voter memory.
To me, this is a roundabout way of President Trump to shame the US media for NOT investigating. They will interview strippers, children or the homeless on finer points of public policies. They WON’T dig into corruption on the Democrats. From Lois Lerner, Fast and Furious, Epstein, Clinton/Haiti scams, or Bidens pay for play scandals.
