Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) defended President Trump’s ongoing trade war with China, arguing that such a hardline approach is the only way to fundamentally change diplomatic relations with Beijing.

“The president is correct — it’s the only way,” Burchett, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Hill.TV during an interview that aired on Tuesday, referring to Trump’s tariffs on Chinese goods.

“This diplomacy they’ve been doing in the past is basically us giving them our checkbook and Congress is basically gutless when it comes to China,” he added. “We need to stand up them — they’re bullies.”

Agree 100%. President Trump needs to remain “hardcore” and RELENTLESS on tariffs on Chinese goods.

IMHO the Chinese are hoping that Trump gets impeached and that Biden becomes President. Same with the NORKs.

After Trump wins re-election, following will take place:

1. Ginsburg will retire
2. China will agree to a trade deal favoring US
3. Kim Jong Un will visit DC and sign a treaty giving up Nukes
4. Schiff will suffer a nervous breakdown and become alcoholic
5. Mexico will sign trade deal which in effect will be money to build the wall.
6. Boris of UK will sign a tariff free trade deal with USA.
7. Mitt Romney will resign as Utah senator.

Absolutely....in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if China had a direct hand in “encouraging” people in DC to get rid of POTUS.

Number 3 is unlikely as the Norks see nukes as an existential to regime maintenance. Also Kim sees nukes as a major selling point for parity with the ROK in ‘two regimes-one country’ reunification bargaining. If Korea has nukes it has a final arbiter defense mechanism against a sea of predatory neighbors, Russia, China, Japan, etc. For the same reason Kim really does not want the USA to leave the ROK. American presence is a big insurance policy for the independence of Korea.

Schiff is fighting to stay out of prison. If the president wins re-election, and Barr finally starts to prosecute, Schiff will be one of the first.

We already have the hardline approach to China, and for decades it failed.

We need the soft approach, soft on America.

Tariff all foreign nations.
