Network Morning Shows Hide Explicit Christian Message in Astonishing Act of Forgiveness

The brother of a murder victim shocked a courtroom on Wednesday as he offered an overtly religious act of forgiveness, urging the killer to turn to Jesus Christ. But you wouldn’t know that from the network morning show coverage on Thursday. Today, Good Morning America and CBS This Morning skipped the appeal to faith, instead portraying it as more generalized forgiveness. Later in the day, View co-host Joy Behar rejected the call to grace and instead insisted, “I think to hold onto the rage gives you strength.”

Amber Guyger shot Botham Jean in 2018 when she accidentally entered his apartment, thinking it was her own. After her conviction for murder, Brandt Jean, the brother, took the stand and told Guyger this: “I want the best for you because I know that's exactly what Botham would want for you. Give your life to Christ. I think giving your life to Christ is the best thing Botham would want for you.”

I heard some of this yesterday and wouldn't you know that the libocrat demokkkommies out there in FB world are showing the pic declaring it's the judge embracing the convicted and wondering what's up with that. Lying liars and their lying lies.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.“

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: You know, sometimes it hits you. You think, now that’s — that’s Christian. That’s — that is a Christian because how many people call themselves that, and will allow things to go on. But here’s this kid who’s lost his brother. He says, “I don’t want you to rot in hell. I’m not — I want your life to be good. I want you to have a good life. My brother’s not, but I want you to have a good life, and I forgive you and can I give her a hug?”

It was incredibly beautiful. I was sobbing as I watched her fly into his arms, there could not have been a dry eye in that courtroom. His brother, and God, must be so proud of him. What a generous and gracious heart.

Mark 11:26

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

I totally agree and you put it perfectly. This young man showed what being Christ-like is all about......about walking in faith and talking in faith and proving that faith by such an act as he displayed on that stand. God bless him, his family and yes, Amber Guyger.

"Joy Behar rejected the call to grace and instead insisted, “I think to hold onto the rage gives you strength.”"

And that's what makes her the person she is today.

I was watching Court TV after Brandt Jean made his statement forgiving Amber Guyger.

One of the attorneys said this: “All religions have forgiveness in their creed”.

The leftists were shocked when Brandt Jean took the air out of the desired riots that they wanted to happen in Dallas no matter what the verdict was.

The leftists are finding that not all blacks are marching with the Democrat Drumbeat.

Let the media ignore it. The story, with video, is all over Facebook, and is being shared a dozen times an hour.
Behar’s anger and resulting bitterness are reflected in her face. Her “strength” makes her uglier every day.

The judge did hug her as well. They both did. I saw it. I thought it was strange that the judge would hug the convicted.

My dental assistant mentioned this to me during my cleaning. Wanted to see this. Thanks for posting.

My son is preaching on “grace” this Sun. I’ll show him this.

Without a race war, the democrats will lose.
Without a sex war, the democrats will lose.
Without a war against the christian religious, the democrats will lose.
Without a war against the rich, the democrats will lose.
Without a war against illegal aliens, the democrats will lose.
Without a war against America, the democrats will lose.

They CANNOT show a black forgiving a white, a black forgiving a white cop, a Christian forgiving the murderer, a male forgiving a female!

But if they imply a “judge” is hugging a white cop, the race war begins again!

Here is an email I received today--- """"Adam, you're leading off with a happy story?" you say. "Isn't there a more important news event that should have been awarded the coveted AFN lead-off spot?" Answer: Nope. This is as important a news story as any. It is a remarkable display of the love of Jesus that will continue to reverberate around the country and world. This, right here, is what we all need. 👉 I trust you remember Amber Guyger, the ex-Dallas cop from yesterday's newsletter who was convicted of murder for walking into her neighbor's apartment and shooting him dead after, she says, mistakenly thinking she was in her own apartment and he was intruder? She got sentenced yesterday. Ten years. The man she killed was named Botham Jean. The media had feverishly built up the "white person kills black person" angle of this tragic story, fomenting hate and division. The Black Lives Matter crowd was outside the courtroom, screaming, chanting, enraged, yelling that Guyger deserved more than ten years in prison and there will be "no peace!" until they see "justice!" Inside the courtroom, Botham's younger brother, 18-year-old Brandt, took the witness stand to address Guyger after her sentence had been announced. Describing what this young man said does it zero justice. You have to watch it for yourself. In short, Brandt said he did not hate her for killing his brother. He said he loves her just like anyone else. He said he didn't want to say this in front of his family, but he doesn't even want her to go to jail. He said he wanted the best for her, because "that's what Botham would want." "And the best would be give your life to Christ." "I think giving your life to Christ would be the best thing Botham would want you to do." He told her again that he loved her and wished nothing bad on her. The young man then turned and asked the judge as he held back tears, "I don't know if this is possible, but can I give her a hug, please?" "Please?" he implored again. "Yes," said the judge. Then Brandt Jean quickly stood up and walked toward Guyger, and Guyger, walking even faster than Jean, met him in the middle of the courtroom and threw herself into his arms. There they embraced tightly as she wept. They clung to each other and whispered things back and forth the substance of which only they and God will probably ever know. For nearly a full minute, Brandt Jean held tightly to his brother's killer, as she held onto him, with security guards standing nearby and the entire courtroom stunned. This is one of the most remarkable displays of grace manifested by the love of Christ that I can ever remember seeing and I can't stop watching it. Watch it for yourself and you will see what I mean. I've run out of words with which to describe it."""

The Leftist Race War Machine got clobbered yesterday.

Because after Brandt Jean forgave Amber Guyger, the “black female judge” hugged the white cop.
