Our family is from the Texas-Oklahoma-New Mexico areas. In our early years we were raised on well water with natural fluoride and have great teeth.

I’m 72 and still have mine. Same for wife and kids. A few cavities in our early years but still can chew a steak real easy.

But then, that was NATURAL fluoride.

Speaking of Texans and well water, I’ve read that Texas produced so many beauty pageant winners because of its mineral-rich well water. Texas gals always had the best teeth and most beautiful smiles. Of course this was in the days before cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics were widespread.

What is natural fluoride? I drink spring water now, but my first 12 years were in CA where the experiment began, fluoride in the water.

My teeth benefited from the CA water or its my genetics. A total of 2 cavities in my life mid 60's and have all my teeth but one, pulled because it died.
