Calling this political operative a whistleblower is a travesty.

I believe this “whistleblower” is just a mythical creature created by Pelosi, Schiffty, Schumer and their Squat Squad.

” GOP ‘Scramble’ “ >>>

*****

My sainted aunt!

The GOP is basically peeping out constitutional law and that’s about it, in substance.

This is to fill the media void on the part of the US SENATE, as they cheerfully await those blasted coming reports from Huber and Bull Durham.

Five days of this derp racket has been suggested will be in progress.

We’re looking at a preGame warm up before the helmet to helmet begins and shtfan against DS.

Trump endorsing Sasse is why Trump’s endorsements don’t carry the weight they should. Drain the swamp but support this traitor? This guy would definitely vote to oust Trump. He needs to be primaried!

“If they are not really a whistleblower, they don’t get the protection,” he said.

It's very hard to see how this person or persons could be a whistleblower. They ought to be outed and they ought to be brought up on charges. Probably spying.

One can’t attack what does not exist.

Stupid reporter. Comparing the call record with the whistlblowers report is what destroys the whistleblower’s credibilty.

Maguire said he believes the whistleblower did the right thing doesn't mean a damn thing. He has no knowledge of the intentions/motives of the whistleblower.

He's gonna eat that in the end.

And the CIA doesn't leak? Yea...right.

The entire Maguire interview was Maguire covering his own a**....and no more.

If this was France or Germany, and one of their secret-service people was found to be spying on the President or Chancellor....the guy would be arrested and hauled into a court with serious charges (well over 20 years).

With the Senate doing more or less nothing, it must now be considered OK for any intelligence guy to monitor a standing president (even a democrat).

“I think the whistleblower did the right thing,” Maguire told the House Intelligence Committee.

How did Maquire know that? He had not read the transcript of the call. After reading the transcript, does he still think that, and if he still thinks that, on what basis?

Why did Maquire bend over backwards in being so supportive of the whistle blower, not knowing who he is?

The attacks on the whistleblower come with high stakes, as GOP leaders see their political fate as closely tied to Trump’s in next year’s elections.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cornyn and Graham for sure.
If they weren’t up this cycle, they’d be “troubled” like Romney and Sasse.
Isn’t the definition of “Whistleblower “ defined in the law and not open to deep state employee re-definition.
If it is, then executive order can redefine it.. It’s not that simple.
Changing it on a form does not change the law.
I’m beginning to suspect there was no one “whistleblower” but rather a small cabal of scum who put it together to appear as though it was just one,
“I want to know who was the person that went to the whistleblower,” he said.
I think a better wording would be this: “I want to know who was the actual whistleblower that went to this person,” he said.
