[UPDATED] AUSTRIAN CHANCELLOR Sebastian Kurz: Islam is not part of our culture. Not part of our history. And never will be
SEPTEMBER 28, 2019 BY BARENAKEDISLAM
After the 2017 election, the anti-Islamization right wing Peoples Party led by Sebastian Kurz formed a coalition with the extreme right wing Freedom Party. But after a scandal involving Freedom Party party chief Heinz-Christian Strache, it was decided to hold a snap election tomorrow.
But what can be expected from the snap election on Sunday (29 September)?
Various opinion polls suggest that Sebastian Kurzs centre-right Peoples Party (OVP) will comfortably win the election again, with 34 percent of the vote. For his voters, the Strache incident apparently had no negative effects on the ex-chancellors credibility.
Although Kurz won the election on a hardline anti-Muslim migration platform in 2017, this time, he introduced the topic of identity, defending what he called a society based on the Judaeo-Christian identity and on Austrian customs and traditions, which is particularly appealing to voters in more rural areas.
Hence, it is clear that Kurz is set to return to power. But with whom?
The main question is whom he will govern with, since he needs a coalition partner in order to secure a majority in the Austrian parliament. Hopefully, he will re-enter into a coalition with the Freedom Party. Agreeing on another coalition with the far-right could be easy since the two parties share many policy goals, from taxation to migration.
Despite the startling corruption scandal, the FPO is projected to win around 20 percent of the vote, proving that they have a core support base of voters who stick to them no matter what.
THIS JUST IN Sebastian Kurz has won Sundays snap parliamentary election and has several options for a coalition that will give his conservative Peoples Party a stable majority, voting projections showed after the close of polls
This is the chancellor of Austria for what it’s worth. I wish he’d move here and run after Trump is done in 2024.
All of those who flew aircraft into the Twin Towers in New York were Islamists. Sadly, that makes them part of our history, now and forever.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. So the next time a liberal politician becomes chancellor, the floodgates will open up again.
Sorry for the pessimism. But the situation wont change until a huge majority of the country wakes up to the danger of Islam. And I dont see that happening. Hell, even 9/11 didnt wake us up.
By the way, as of 2017 8% of the Austrian population was Muslim. And they have a higher birth rate than do the natives. Maybe its not too late for Austria to put some forced assimilation policies in place. But maybe it is too late.
Anyway, such policies would upset the EU and the Pope. Mustnt do that.
Sadly islam was already a part of our history. Look up the Barbary Pirates.
Why can’t we say the same damn thing in this country instead of kissing their asses?
Yes, The Shores of Tripoli are part of our history. Unlike Bush, Thomas Jefferson took the time to learn about our enemies and address them accordingly.
I don’t know about “we”, but I say what I want and I don’t kiss ass.
Lets say the US government wanted to settle 5000 Muslims on an Indian reservation. The tribal leaders would never allow it! The tribal leaders would say they wanted to preserve their culture, and their traditions. And no one would call the tribal leaders racist for saying that.
But should a European leader say that same thing, all hell would break loose.
Actually, Islam is a part of our history. We fought our first two wars as a nation against Islamic pirates and slave takers.
Islam is certainly part of Austria;s history. The Ottoman’s ravaged the SE frontiers regularly and worked themselves up to two massive invasions aimed at taking Vienna.
We need that kind of thinking here. Good for Austria. Islam is a plague.
