Houthi rebels in Yemen say they have captured a large number of Saudi troops after a major attack near the border between the two countries. A Houthi spokesman told the BBC that three Saudi brigades had surrendered near the Saudi town of Najran. He said thousands of soldiers had been captured and many others killed. Saudi officials have not confirmed the claim. The operation was the largest of its kind since the conflict began, the spokesman said. Colonel Yahiya Sarea said Saudi forces had suffered "huge losses in life and machinery". All those captured would be paraded on the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV network on Sunday, he added.

If they’re anything like their Iranian masters they’ll be holding up heads like they did with our dead airmen from the failed rescue attempt of the hostages during Carter’s time.

Saudis are terrible soldiers. Even their SOF forces are terrible.

Their AF is OK.

This would not surprise me in the least.

Allah must be praised. This helps to prove the point that Islam is indeed a religion of peace. Just like George W. Bush said.

Unlike most of the idiots here siding with SA, get behind nobody and let them kill each other

Sauds financed the last MAJOR attack on us, 9/11.

Only a fool forgets the past and it’s just as likely saudi funded terror will kill American next as it is Iranians will.

Everyone who works with them seems to come away with an impression of laziness and ineptitude. Also, they don’t plan well.

remember when Saddam had huge Columns of tanks and APCs lined up on the SA border after he took Kuwait before the “line in the sand” talk . he could have just walked right in without even throwing a rock

And should have from his point view and seizing the oil fields and more importantly the harbors and docks to prevent easy outside military influx into the region

Based on my few interactions with Saudi nationals I’d have to add “arrogance” to that list.
