Report: Paul Ryan Pushing Fox News to ‘Decisively Break’ with Trump
Breitbart ^ | 26 Sep 2019 | TONY LEE

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox Corp., is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump, according to a Thursday Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.”

Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, citing four sources, reported that Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, who has long tried to move Fox News to the center, “is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.”

Ryan, the longtime Trump antagonist, has reportedly been suggesting to Murdoch that “Fox should decisively break with the president” as Murdoch holds “strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump.”

Vanity Fair cited “an executive who’s spoken with Ryan” who simply said: “Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it.”

Who didn’t see thus coming? As soon as I read that this Globalist RINO had joined the BoD I knew he would attempt something like this.

I wonder how much time Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham, Dobbs and Pirro have left on Fox News?

First, how can the FOX never-Trumpers break with Trump?

Second, Ryan is just what all news organizations need, directors who think reporters should be for or against something.

Paul Ryan should be investigated for Cheese Pizza and/or Sore-Ass dollars.

Yes, I know he married into a big Dem Donor family.

In a just world, he would be ....

“Where would the certain key talent move on to? What kind of salaries do you suppose they pay at Newsmax?”

OAN = One American News. They couldn’t pay the salaries they get now in all likelihood but possibly a part stock/ownership deal could get them on board. I’m sure some big money investors could be found the rapidly ramp up the Company.

Shep Smith probably convinced Ryan while they were in bed.

It’s time to “decisively break” from Fox and the GOP. Both are useless.

How did Ryan get a gig like that?

Yes, of course that would be the reply.

If there are big-money investors anywhere near Oan to help them “ramp up the Company,” they would have already done so, and the conservative Fox talent would already be hurrying over.

If you are sure about some of these “big money investors,” and their “stock plans,” why aren’t they scurrying to take your advice?

Just an example to show HOW the deep state (Ryan is part of it) controls the media.

What Foxnews does it its business, but nobody should trust ANY media outlet. They are ALL duplicitous and manipulative.

Fox News dominates in the ratings...

but Paul Ryan wants to change that.

Go figure.

-- ... they threw it away purposely. --

Congress has been in open revolt against the people for a long time. Open borders? Congress. Out of control debt? Congress. Take your guns? Congress. Abdicate oversight of courts? Congress.

And a for the GOP, yes, it loses on purpose. It prefers the perks and actions assocaited with being the minority (we object with principle! But we sure as hell won't govern with it.)

“Wouldn’t be the smartest business plan for Fox, to understate the matter.”

The smartest business plan for ATT would be to fire Jeff Zucker and shift CNN to a true “fair and balanced” network with factual reporting of news stories separated from editorial commentary. On the reporting side lay out the facts, without bias. Have separate editorial shows which are clearly labeled opinion. Include some real left/right debating in 1/2 to 1 hour editorial shows where hard news reporters are present to insert facts while the left and right commentators debate.

A true “fair and balanced” network would be the #1 cable news network within a year. Fox is currently moving left and will be just another mainstream media leftist propaganda outlet once Rupert Murdoch is gone and the son has complete freedom.

Ryan is exerting strong effort to squelch the free flow of opinion and ideas. He prefers a world where thought and opinion is controlled in a globalist direction.

I can already tell Fox is NOT going to continue to support of Thrump. I saw it yesterday, Some anchors during daytime were combative with Republican speakers. Especially, that blonde woman on during the day etc.

I have no problem with Fox getting combative with politicians, no matter the party they align themselves with. Whatever happened to "fair and balanced"? Their nighttime lineup is the opinion side, their daytime lineup is supposed to be the news side. Sure, the lines blur, but we already have at least 3 news outlets that make the Pravda look objective.

Actually, it would kill Fox News. Hannity, Pirro, Dobbs, Ingraham, Levine, could conceivably move over to Mark’s network or possibly OAN. The advertisers would follow because the audience would leave Fox too. Fox would have to compete against MSNBC, CNN, and the rest of the alphabet networks. That’s splitting an already thin pie thinner.

Fox dominates the ratings, it’s not because liberals are watching. I’m sure Levine could give each of them an ownership interest and they’d do quite nicely in time.

Fox is the highest rated cable news network. Their highest rated shows are all Trump backers. We have non cable alternatives.
