Senate Republicans are vowing to quickly quash any articles of impeachment that pass the House and warn that Democrats will feel a political backlash if they go forward and impeach President Trump.
Republican senators say there are no grounds to impeach Trump and are daring Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to embark on what they dismiss as a fool’s errand that will turn off swing voters.
“My response to them is go hard or go home,” said Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over impeachment. “If you want to impeach him, stop talking. Do it. Do it. Go to Amazon, buy a spine and do it. And let’s get after it.”
“I think the public will feel like it’s more harassment,” he predicted.

The public KNOWS it's harassment even if the media is trying to trick them into this being serious, it is not, it's clownish.
My guess is that they’ll never vote actual articles.
They’ll just keep the witch hunt open as a way to harass Trump and his supporters and to drip-drip-drip fabricated BS leaks to the lamestream media.
Somebody muzzle those mutts or America is finished in another 20 years.
Reminds me of when Lewinsky tried to get Linda Tripp to commit perjury to cover for her and Clinton. All the press could see was that "Tripp had betrayed her 'friend'" by recording their conversations.
This sort of thing is the truly scary part.
We know that the Left engages in projection -- they accuse President Trump of doing all of the bad things that they have done.
They accuse Trump of doing 100 bad things -- which means the Democrats have done 100 bad things.
They have investigated Trump for three years and have found NO EVIDENCE that he has done a single bad thing -- but he is still guilty.
Meanwhile, we have mountains of evidence of their transgressions (including videotape of Biden bragging that he blackmailed a country) and the media's conclusion is that any suggestion of impropriety by the Democrats is not worth considering.
This is bad and scary.
Talk is cheap.
Yank all the funding and support from Mitt and then I’ll believe the GOP-e Senate.

There are many scary aspects to the behavior of the democrats. I would start with the fact that asking Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is not illegal and it’s not even improper and yet we are watching the nonsense including on Fox News. Every time a Democrat burps they treat it like the latest episode of Master Chef. It would be nice if some day they’d figure out the democrats are just full of complete crap.

Democrats need two thirds in the Senate. Dream on. Impeachment at this point is a glorified censure resolution. That’s all it will ever be.

on the SCOTUS fight. It’s Captain Magic Underpants and MooCowSki that you have to worry about.
The surrender by Pelosi shows that the far left wing of the dem party has taken over. Biden is history. There is no turning back now for the dems. I expect the media will now push for Warren and more and more polls will be in her favor as the media declares how electable she is.
I believe this is their game plan as well.
It's all about politics and their next coup attempt to take down, or at least damage, President Trump.

Let's hope that the "independents" and more conservative (D)'s that voted for Trump in 2016 get it too.
The Dems know he won’t be impeached. This is a big last ditch effort on their part to win the election in 2020. They want to make people doubt & change their minds about voting for him. They’re hoping that they’ll be able to force release of information & documents that they’ve been requesting, but denied. Even if they won’t vote for a Democrat, maybe they can produce enough negativity around Trump to make people stay home and not vote at all, giving the Dems the win.
