Suicide by cop....................
Exactly.
This perp seemed pretty determined to kill this cop. He rushed the guy and kept pressing his attack. Dont most SBC perps do more of a standoff and make less aggressive attacks?
Too late. The protest marches have already begun.
Perp did not choose wisely.
Just judging from the video, he got what he deserved...............
He was a good boy, tryin’ turn his life ‘roun... he dindu nuffins...
I’m a critic of the police and I’m saying this was absolute self defense on the part of the cop. The cop also tried his best not to use lethal force and it is 100% clear that the perp had every chance to stop and live.
He chose to die.
Good shooting, Officer.
Crazy SOB slams his car into the cop car and then proceeds to attack the cop with a knife. Shooting the crazy SOB was the correct course of action.
About the cleanest shoot I’ve ever seen. So open and shut the inquiry board won’t even have enough questions to drag the interview into a coffee break.
Man, that is something right out of academy training.
I feel for the police officer.
This is a non starter, but doesn’t mean the local activists won’t try to make a federal case out of it...
Just like they did near here when the punk involved in a drive by got killed.
Just judging from the video, he got what he deserved...............
Whew! Good thing the camera didn't malfunction.
I have one BIG problem with the officer’s conduct.
They waited WAY TOO LONG before shooting this guy.
Looks like he made a bad decision and had every right to die for it.
If the perp had a gun I wonder if the cop would have had time to shoot first.
Here’s an interesting thought - I do believe in California what he did is now against policy, because he didn’t open a dialog with the suspect first before shooting. He never asked him to NOT try and kill him and then use non-lethal methods first before shooting to kill. I might be wrong, but isn’t that the gist of the bill Newsom signed recently?
This looks to me alot like the islamic knife attacks we see reported in the UK, Sweden etc...
