It is past time for Democrats to deal with the reality that Joe Biden is a sorry leader of a sad sack of presidential candidates.
And unless Barack Obama comes to the rescue of his former vice president, Biden, 76, is toast. While 76 is not old, Biden is an old 76.
Besides appearing frail, he mumbles and meanders, as old folks are wont to do. It is the way he answered a key question about race at the last candidates’ debate. He sounded more like the late Boston Mayor Tom “ Mumbles” Menino talking about the city’s budget than he did as the potential leader of the free world.
Asked about a statement on race made 40 years ago about not being responsible for the sins of slavery, and how modern Americans needed to repair its legacy, Biden looked confused.

Oh yes it is, for the job he is auditioning for. I will be 75 soon and in relatively good health for my age. Can’t imagine the stress related tasks of the Presidency for a senior. IMHO

Joe isn’t just old. He’s a sick man. His brain is dying, literally. You’re looking at someone who is entering the early stages of dementia. I can’t stand Joe Biden. I hate his guts and everything he stands for. But it’s cruel to see a man his age and in his condition being put through the rigors of a campaign for office. It’s a sick joke and an embarrassing spectacle. But then again it’s his choice.
Joe Biden has been braced up over and over again as the “h ope” for the somewhat more moderate leftist Democrats, now essentially the “Old Guard” of the Democrat party. The rest of the Democrats have “walked away” from the more “woke” version, and are now largely independent, not yet having made the transition to anything like being Republican.
That echo chamber that makes up the most leftist portion of the now moribund Democrats will get their doctrinaire candidate, and do a lot of whooping and hollering, suitably and not so subtly amplified by the highly partisan major media, in the hope that the high decibel output will somehow drown out the very real advances Team Trump has made, even in the face of harsh criticism and obdurate refusal to provide assistance of any kind.

I think that’s exactly right. There were enough establishment D’s who knew they’d have good positions in a Biden administration that they locked him up as the only viable candidate in the “moderate” lane of the party.
They needed someone more presentable in that lane as a backup in case Biden bidened.
I’m surprised Plugs is still campaigning. He’s aged 15 years in the last 5 years.
A stumbling Democrat Party should mean an ascendant Republican Party in a two party system. But it isn’t working out that way. Why? I tell you why; the Globalist Old Plutocrats (GOP) party is a bad product and can’t get Americans to by off on globalism. It is anti American worker. The GOP is JOKE.

Evidently, his family encouraged him to run. Jill Biden knows Joe probably better than anyone & has encouraged him, evidently. The family has thrown him, in his ‘frail’ mental/physical state, to the wolves, for what? Power, being in the WH, etc. It’s “elder abuse” plain & simple. He’s being USED by his family, which is totally disgusting.
BTW, elder abuse issues aside, I can’t stand the man. He’s an Obama butt kisser, a political leach for decades, corrupt, and a nasty, nasty politician & a pervert. He’s got major problems because he cannot keep his hands off of little girls & he was ‘abusive’ to the female SS agents in his protective detail .... when the males agents saw him coming (he likes parading around naked), they would get the females out of his sight.
I’m with you. I can’t bring myself to dump on Biden or Hillary at this stage because when you look at them it’s pretty clear their time is just about up.
