Joe Scarborough still occasionally claims to be a conservative. But based on his rant this morning, it sure sounds like Joe would prefer Supreme Court appointees in the mold of RBG/Sotomayor rather than Gorsuch/Kavanaugh.
On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough fretted that if President Trump and Mitch McConnell are successful, they will "shape the judiciary for the next 50 years." Scarborough expressed his concern in the context of criticizing Joe Kennedy for launching a Dem primary campaign against incumbent Sen. Ed Markey in Massachusetts. Scarborough worried that money spent on that campaign will divert funds that could be used to defeat President Trump.

What’s up with Joe? Doesn’t he understand that Kennedys feel.a divine right to being a Senator from Massachusetts? Doesn’t Joe realize this newest Kennedy relative feels entitled to that Senate seat, even if it means challenging a fellow Democrat in the primary?
Didn’t he already give Barr the authority to do this?

It really is amazing. If Obama could shape the court for 50 years, all the journalists would nod sagely and say that it was a good thing and we were all the better for it.
But Trump comes along and shapes the court for 50 years and they act like it’s just not right. Somebody needs to stop him!

Hey Joe, it’s the President’s job to appoint judges. Why were there so many openings available for Trump to fill?
I distinctly remember Leftists in the media and in Congress bragging about how Obama was reshaping the courts in a hard Left direction with his appointments. They said this might be the most lasting part of his legacy and couldn’t have been happier about it.
What Trump has done - with help from the Turtle - in his first 3 years is almost completely counterbalance what Obama did. Obama appointed 55 to the Circuit Courts. Trump has appointed 43 so far with 6 more pending. Each appointed 2 SCOTUS justices.

I think Scarborough gets more exposure on conservative outlets than he does on his own crappy TV show.
The problem is as we have seen it only takes a few Rat hack federal Judges to rescue the leftist agenda. It seems even when a good Judge steps in and overrules within hours another hack Judge cancels that out.
