Me too. He seemed to be a very intelligent, no nonsense kind of guy. I can accept that that him and Trump had different agendas, but this backstabbing has made me lose all respect for him.

You are not alone. I took him on face value too. Now I find he has bad history. So obviously President Trump used him for a reason, the reason didn't exist anymore, the job was his to lose, and he lost it. Now he is revealed as an ungrateful POS. Karma.
