Feel good story of the day.
Most of them don’t qualify.
But the law says they get a hearing.
This is the best way to deal with the backlog.
Reducing the flow by squeezing Mexico is having even greater effect.
Bump!
Fox what’s with the “migrant” bull sh!t? They are illegal aliens.
I agree, Fox isn’t what it used to be.
“with the backlog now at more than 800,000 cases.”
just declare “NO” 800,000 times...
This will upset the Leftists, because swamping the courts to the point about all we could do is grant broad amnesty, is exactly what they were shooting for.
Another Trumpian end run...
If Fox thinks the legal term illegal aliens is offensive, how about undocumented squatters?
Once they get used to seeing these, instead of building relatively expensive walls we can just set up a bunch of tents.
How long do you think it’ll take before the commies start saying that white tents are a symbol of oppression every time one is set up at a county fair or something?
We should just cut the crap and call them Foreign Democrats.
Yep, I’m loving it.
These illegal alien activists should be declared subversives and put on terrorists lists.
Personally I like “illegal invaders” but “illegal squatters” is good too.
Lets Wrap This FReepathon Up Today, Folks!!
I’d like to see us demand our elected officials, and in fact any official who swears an oath of office in this nation, to be held accountable for advocating for the violation of our nation’s laws.
At a bare minimum, their appointment should end once it can be shown the have done something along those lines.
We have federal level politicians, and local level police chiefs and attorneys ignoring the laws of the land.
Make them find other lines of work.
I agree, it would be the sane thing to do.
Sorry, that's incorrect.
Less than 10% of the people who apply for asylum at the southern border will get it - and all of them know that, BEFORE they apply.
They apply for asylum because that makes them legally eligible for welfare benefits and work permits while their case is being adjudicated - which can take years.
If they are required to stay in Mexico after applying for asylum, NONE of them are going to apply for asylum.
Instead, if they can get one foot onto USA territory, close to 90% of them will get “Catch and Release” within a week or two.
It is possible that a small percentage of potential immigrants will decide not come to the USA if they cannot get legal work permits as asylees.
However, most of them have already planned to stay in the USA after their asylum claim is rejected.
Bottom Line - more than half of the people who claim asylum do not even show up for their court date!
Which means... LOL
