Democrats target your gun rights(NOT Breaking news)

"Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15 and your AK-47," said Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke, a former El Paso congressman, during last week's Democratic presidential debate.

To some, his remarks sounded like a spontaneous outpouring of emotion. But within minutes of the debate ending, his campaign was marketing pre-printed tee-shirts bearing his carefully rehearsed sound bite.

The framers of America's Constitution enshrined the right to keep and bear arms as the Second Amendment in its Bill of Rights because guns were the most tangible guarantee of power in the hands of the people. This is precisely why progressive Democrats, who want all power in the hands of government, hate gun rights.

Uh, in the not to distant past, didn't the demokkkommies control both manure pits and the white hut at the same time? Guncontrol crickets. And the lames continue to help them by pushing this garbage as if it's the number one pressing issue with voters. Uh, pretty far down the list of concerns as is the 'hole' climageddon BS. Then again, every America destroying plan they have seem to share the top spot as the premiere issue. Lying liars and the lies the lie about.

I think they’d rather club us over the head with the issue than move on it. They’re probably a generation away from being able to pull off confiscation.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love FREEDOM enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn ,

The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

So many of these opinion pieces seem to be regurgitated, devoid of any original content. Like reading the “Duncan Hunter” articles... Last week’s or last year’s op-eds rewritten for the choir. “Ladies and Gentlemen, there’s this thing called the Second Amendment... Let me tell you about it...” It’s just strange.

The dim party fights like hell to protect their income sources. Which is why they protect Planned Parenthood, MS-13 gangs and the like and open borders.

Two stupid things about the “weapons of war” comments:

1. The AR15 is specifically NOT a weapon of war; it’s purely a civilian weapon.

2. The second amendment reference to a “well regulated militia” clearly and specifically is intended to protect citizens’ right to own any weapon that an infantrymen would be issued. this is distinct from a crew served weapon, and would include fully automatic weapons.

They need to go after people on psycho-active drugs.

So, do you think the demokkkommies would object to giving the NRA $500 million or so per year? I mean they’re working(?) to protect our rights to KABA like pph is working to protect the right to an abor............. Hey, wait a minute...........

You and your ilk, Beto, are the ones who will force us to use them against YOU.

The first target after immediate self-defense should be THOSE WHO GAVE THE ORDERS.

What happened when the Brits try to take away our guns the first time at Lexington in April, 1775?

Thomas Jefferson, “I enclose you a list of the killed, wounded, and captives of the enemy from the commencement of hostilities at Lexington in April, 1775, until November, 1777, since which there has been no event of any consequence …

I think that upon the whole it has been about one half the number lost by them, in some instances more, but in others less. This difference is ascribed to our superiority in taking aim when we fire; every soldier in our army having been intimate with his gun from his infancy.” - Thomas Jefferson, letter to Giovanni Fabbroni, June 8, 1778

SECOND AMENDMENT

Right to Bear Arms

Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791. The first 10 amendments form the Bill of Rights:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Back Ground Checks

I’m OK with that as long as within the same bill they do the same background check on Real Voter ID and Immigration too. Tie all three together.

The sound of crickets would be deafening.

Beto has levied a direct threat to American people. I believe we can respond in kind. Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing, but if you try to take my guns, I will have no qualms about shooting you.

Time to put a $200 tax on the first amendment too. Just like the 2nd amendment. All journalists should require on file a photo ID , finger prints and DNA sample. The left should have no problem with this!
