CONYERS - Three men were allegedly shot and killed by a homeowner on White Oak Court early this morning. A Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the three men did not live at the home and arrived at the residence with their faces covered.

I hate to say it, but, did they know each other? Was there any other kind of illegal activity/relationship between the men prior to this? Why did the home invaders select this particular home?
Probably just selected the home at random and the homeowner righteously protected himself, but sometimes questions are raised.
Those fellas (dying in the commission of a crime) got all the process that they were due.

Overuse of “allegedly” here. Ain’t nothing ‘alleged’ about being shot and killed.
The news media usually say that some action is “alleged” if it has not yet been resolved in court. So someone who shoots someone “allegedly” shot them, in the media style book.
In before the “Should have used a bigger caliber!” or “Needs more time at the range!” comments.
Those guys won’t make that mistake again.
Just waiting to hear if they were turning their lives around, being aspiring musicians and all that.

A recent article pointed out it will cost you roughly $50 K to survive using your Concealed Carry Permit. Rationally, I would conclude if a home invasion is occurring at your home of less than $50 K in value it probably is cheaper to just let them have it. The home, that is.
