Bolt cutters. I’d look the other way.
There was another article that mentioned this.
They should cut the ropes and let them fall into the water.
Don’t know why they are closing the ship channel. Doesn’t even look like they are close to being in the path of a ship.
Also, seems like the proper course of action is to send in a few Texas Rangers with machetes and cut the ropes hanging off the bridge - problem solved.
Let the ships continue on their way regardless.
This just in... Pinata’s are hanging from the Fred Hartman Bridge.
All the different flavors of left-wing ideologues yet they are almost all mentally defective in the exact same way.
They are their own worse enemy. Lol
Ping.
Why close it? They appear to be just a few feet below the bridge and nowhere near the height of a ship. Yeah, yeah, they could fall and kill themselves when hitting a ship, blah, blah. Arrest them now or body bag what’s left after bouncing off the deck.
Wait, first toss some bread crumbs their direction and let nature take its course.
This is Houston, Texas. These folks will likely have the book thrown at them and local juries will not be of a mind to cut them any slack.
Anchor the biggest, high sulfur bunker fuel burning tug, under the perps and rev the engine.
Haul them up.
Remove their harnesses,
Tie the ropes around their necks.
Push them back off.
After they stop kicking, cut the ropes.
Drop all of these fossil fuel hating fags onto a deserted island and be done with them.
It’s basically what they’re asking for, isn’t it?
They might get tousled a bit, but the ship would get through.
I hold the fossil fuel industry accountable! Accountable for the creation of efficient transportation, advancement of medical diagnostic equipment, and the overall betterment of humankind.
Accountable for what? For improving standards of living and life expectancy around the world? If one of these hypocrites starts living a life totally independent of fossil fuels, I might pay attention. Of course we'd never hear from them again.
I spent about an hour and a half in traffic trying to get to Mont Belvieu from Pasadena this morning. I yelled at the LEO’s as I passed to cut them loose so they could go hug a fish or something.
I heard they were in rappelling harnesses. I don’t know the difference, but in my industry if someone falls and the fall is arrested by a harness, you have very little time to get them down, otherwise they could develop a life threatening circulation issue.
Just arrest their support crew and let them hang in the sun.
