It is my opinion we should pull all of our troops from Germany and relocate them to Poland. Poland has said they will build the bases needed to host our troops and, have invited us there with open arms.

Seems that returning our forces completely from Europe would be prudent. It’s been 70+ years.

The German aerospace company I work with has pulled a lot of its work from Germany and moved it to Poland. As the German employees retire, they aren’t being replaced in Germany, but a Polish guy will take his place on the weekly phone call.

In the long term it will work out, but it appears to be a corporate cost cutting move vs a sound strategy as the aerospace learning curve is steeper than the bean counters will ever realise.

But you are right, if Germans are moving their crap to Poland, we should have done that first.

F135 (the engine in the F-35) has parts that were going to be made in Turkey. If I had to guess, I would think some of those will be moving to Poland, soon.
