These days, you have to read the Denver Post like the old Pravda. I found the NC election story at the back of the paper. The thrust was OK, the Republicans did win, but in a squeaker and this means bad things for the GOP in 2020. The vote percentages were never mentioned. I knew then we had won big.
Just curious, if trumps support among blacks is growing so much why was the victory by bishop relatively close? Shouldn’t it have been wider?

The GOP Establishment RINOs will NEVER “learn their lesson” that conservative candidates win because they rally the GOP base. They will continue to shove candidates like McCain and Romney down our throats. They will continue moving Left in a futile attempt to get liberal votes. It is insane. But the GOP-e RINOs hate conservatives more than they hate the left. They will never run conservative candidate, or support them with money. But if they did, they would win back a lot of House seats.
Polls are becoming worthless under Trump. People planning to vote GOP are no longer telling pollsters the truth, just what they want to hear. Never mind the push polling and their pro commie-Rat bias that infects their polls.

And the Democrat candidate was essentially a conservative, a vet, small business owner, who I am sure was pro-gun, anti-abortion and ‘could work with Trump’ blah, blah, blah.
It is mostly fiction.
After having worked in the welfare office and not being able to get people to come down and pick up their food stamps. (FREE MONEY) I came to the conclusion that it was simply not possible that these same people would all turn out and stand in line for hours to vote in lock step. It just did not fit.
Even in countries where voting is mandatory you always have about 5% that blow it off. They would rather pay a fine then go vote.
And if a vote on everyone getting five extra years of healthy life was on the ballot someone would vote against it. That is just the way some people are. They would vote against a sunny day.
So the "black vote" or perhaps I should say "minority vote" in certain areas is invented. There are some that vote. And then they run those votes through a machine marking people off the list until they have the correct number that they need.
How do I know this is what happens? Because I have proof.
A ballot box was opened and 51 ballots were inside. The books and outside counter said 306 people had voted. Guess how they voted?
The FEC is uninterested in such goings on. In fact they prefer to pretend it does not happen.
So any blacks that voted for Bishop would have had their vote nullified by two pretend votes that were invented at the voting station.
How ever there is a limit to how far you can take this even with the FEC having your back. At some point the numbers become ridiculous. So they are under a certain amount of constraint. So that is how a 2% victory is allowed to stand and a 1% is recounted until they "find" enough votes for the democrat to squeak out a victory.

that’s the big takeaway for me ... that and the fact that bishop ran such a lackluster campaign that the only way to save him was for Trump to nationalize the campaign at the last moment
however, Trump can’t campaign for all 465 House seats, so it’s incumbent upon the RNC to utilize NC 9 as a national template, namely ALL GOP House candidates should go full-bore pro-Trump policies and go full-bore in attacking the national Dem polices of open-borders, free medical care for illegal aliens, banning private medical care, banning meat, banning cars, banning air-conditioning, banning winter heating by banning fossil fuel production, forcibly taking guns from law-abiding owners and all the other insane Dem policies, and FORCING the Dem candidate to either defend or deny those insane policies ...
and I would be vicious about doing it too, unabashidly accusing the Dem candidate of supporting each and every one of those things and forcing each and every lying Dem son of a bitch on the defense about all of it!

the margin of victory for Bishop was actually wider than the GOP victory that was overturned in the 2018 election ...
