Well then keep an eye on them using old fashioned espionage, because Afghanistan has no navy, no real army, no airforce, and is land-locked. The amount of jihad nutcases are no more concentrated there than they are in most [all] Islamic countries.
You dont need our military there for 19 years because of some “trust” issues.
With aircraft in use for many generations now, no nation is truly “land locked” anymore. Neither are their “guests”.
