“I’m curious. If someone came into your Walmart with six guns in slings and four handguns around his waist, what would you expect you would do? Also, how would others react?

I think that scenario should be normal at gun ranges, but even my gun range wants guns in cases or sleeves until you get into your area.

You think Walmart should be more lenient than my gun range or me around my property?”

You are deliberately creating a strwman but you aren’t very good at it.

At least you are better than the lunatic claiming that open carry is justification for shooting the carrier.

I would either ignore the person or ask that one person to leave if I didn’t like how they looked and acted.

If a normal person came in with a holstered pistol or a long gun on a sling I would ignore it or thank them for deterring crime.

Your gun range sounds stupid.

It’s called a protest, the left has warped our society with them while we have been to polite to fight back.

The Boston tea party was a much more destructive protest, our founders would be ashamed of us.

"you show up brandishing a gun to the public I might feel threatened or think others are under threat....being an idiot with a gun is how people get killed... how do I know you are not going to shoot at some one if you present it to be seen. this is how people get shot by mistake by other people with a gun"

You miss the point of my comments..

First of all I did not say "I" open carry a gun in a store... Have not done that since high school, when lots and lots of people open carried everywhere except church....(and no one blinked an eye)...

Secondly, open carry is not "brandishing"... Only a leftist loon, anti 2nd Amendment, demoncrat would maintain that equality...

Thirdly, I re-quote you with a couple of word changes...
"...you show up erratically or drunkenly driving an automobile in public I might feel threatened or think others are under threat.... Being an idiot with an automobile is how people get killed... How do I know you are not going to crash into, or run over, some one if you drive it in public. That is how people get killed by mistake by other people with an automobile..."

Therefore, based on your "1980"-inspired philosophy of control, the automobile should be kept garaged and driven only in the case of life-threatening emergencies... Naturally, in that case, the Founding Fathers might have included another Amendment that specifically protects your right to drive a wagon, horse, horse & carriage, or boat (eventually an automobile, train, and plane)...
(And I won't even get into the discussion of how many Americans are killed each year by people driving automobiles as compared to the gun statistics for American civilians killed...)

To declare your store as gun-free is to paint a bullseye target on the front door.
