No, Any weapon that is capable of full auto is a machine gun. Any rifle that is capable of full auto as an option by select fire is an assault rifle/machine gun. Anything that is NOT capable of full auto is not an assault rifle. A Semi-automatic is one round expended for each trigger pull. A semi-automatic is in no way included in the class of automatic capable “Assault Rifles” or “Assault weapons” select fire or otherwise. But this quietly raises a question about some tripper groups available that rightfully needs to not be discussed in public. :)
