White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham called out CNN over a graphic the network aired that appears to mislabel Alabama as Mississippi, based on a screenshot that Grisham tweeted as President Trump faces ongoing criticism for doubling down on his claim that Hurricane Dorian originally posed a threat to Alabama.
The image was shown in reference to a report on Dorian's progress as it works its way up the eastern U.S. coast. Georgia is in a state of emergency, and damage has been reported in the Carolinas.
A CNN spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.

Trump has been on this for 3 days. What a stupid self-own.
Looks like a stupid mistake to me.
This often happens where folks misidentify Alabamians as Mississippians.
Good grief. This penny ante stuff is boring.
“What a stupid self-own.”
Are you referring to your post?
Alabama? Mississippi? Whats the difference to a fake-news outlet?
Maybe they should list the states they do not know as ‘Fly Over’.....
Geography is hard...................
CNN is the same network that had Rick Sanchez, who said Hawaii was just 500 miles off the Mexican coast.
CNN = Network of Idiots
Like I said for the Biden mistake in New England....those southern states....they all look the same. Still given that CNNs hq is in Atlanta they should have known better.
Alabama? Mississippi? Whats the difference to a fake-news outlet?
~~~
CNN used to be out of Atlanta though... are they still?
I can totally see some self absorbed, insular, northeasterner mixing up Alabama with Mississippi though. They’re just two tall narrow gulf states in redneck country, right?
CNN’s got Joe Biden Disease.
Wow, I moved and I didn’t even know it.
It’s all flyover country. No one lives there. No one cares. [/s]
Did Niger Innis catch the mistake?
In reality, CNN is ATT.
But the proud ATT subscribers dont give a damn.
Its not that were powerless its fecklessness.
