I wouldn't say to automatically vote to acquit. However, you should give any testimony or "evidence" from them about as much credibility as you'd give your average drug dealer with a conflict of interest.
What the heck makes you think they are incompetent? They've successfully protected everyone involved. I don't see that as incompetence at all.
