Read for yourself what Chabad says about the Noahide Laws:

https://www.chabad.org/search/keyword_cdo/kid/2123/jewish/Noahide-Laws-The-Seven.htm

Current interest in them is the Jewish answer to what one must do to be saved, as Christianity has lost its hold on Western Civilization.

This part:

form of Zionist mission, which seeks to create a world religion whose believers adore the Jewish people and the State of Israel – without belonging to either.

I know a lot about the Noahide laws. I have studied the Talmud..

So, you think Christianity has failed? And, that the Noahide religion is the answer?

Really?

Thank you for the answer. You seem to be the only one that even knows about the Noahide laws.

Christianity is NOT already Noahides.

Because we believe in Christ as divine.

That is reason for beheading under Noahide laws.

However, muslims ARE already Noahides..

The two outcomes of life are to devote your life to Jesus Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior or to commit suicide on an eternal basis which is what dying without Christ accomplished regardless of the physical manner of death.

Maimonides (your RamBam?) ranked Islam superior than Christianity on theological grounds. For him, Christianity is the prime example of the error of such anthropomorphism in its original doctrine of the Incarnation and in its associated doctrine of the Trinity.

It’s the Jewish answer to how the world is governed when the Messiah comes. One may like them or not, but they remain the Jewish answer.

Note that they are not really a guide to personal salvation, but rather the minimum needed for a peaceful society.

If you’ve studied, you know there are widely differing opinions about most details that make them impossible to enforce without guidance from God through the Messiah.

A priceless gift is the sod or beginning layers of understandings of the Word to a goy. The Jew who loves God has so much to offer, if they would but obey and offer it.

Many people, including myself, find being called 'goy' offensive.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well." - Jesus

"Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law. For the law merely brings awareness of sin. But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. " - Paul writing in Romans

Religious Jews, devout Jews, so-called good Jews who are not Believers in Messiah Jesus - are lost Jews! When it comes to things of God, why a Christian would have any interest in the teaching of those who reject Christ makes no sense.

“...the Chabad, the ones who came up with the Noahide laws....”

Uh, they didn’t come up with the Noahide laws, they’re merely telling people about what is already in the Bible. Oh, and I have heard that Jesus said words to the effect that “not one jot or tittle of the Law is to be changed” - meaning that what is in the Bible concerning Noah (specifically including the Noahide laws that were expounded by God) is still valid under Christian theology (and, of course, under Jewish theology).

Another way for people to think about the Noahide laws is that it is God’s way of telling everyone, rather explicitly, that if you simply behave in a certain way, there is a place for you in Heaven. These laws don’t require that one believe in Judaism, only that you treat your fellow human beings and animals in a humane and decent manner. IOW, Judaism is inclusive - there is no “believe in what we say, or you’re going to burn in Hell” nonsense, let alone “believe in what we say or we’ll cut off your heads and rape your wives and daughters” nonsense.

But of course one could never gather such facts from an article by the anti-religious NY Slimes of Israel.

Oh, and I am not a Noahide - I am Jewish (though no scholar by any means).

“The entire article is just another slam against Christianity and Orthodox Judaism.”

No one who is in the least bit familiar with the anti-religious NY Slimes of Israel would expect anything else from Haaretz.

Amen. This is what came to my mind,

"13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility."--Ephesians 2

The dividing wall has been broken down. Unbelief cannot/refuses to see it.

Many people, including myself, find being told that by following the religion of their ancestors, stretching back through Moses to Abraham, they don’t obey the law offensive.

By the way, the term “goy” simply means someone who is not Jewish. That some hateful people have (and continue to) use that neutral, descriptive, word in a negative way does not change its simple definition. As an English speaker, I prefer the term “non-Jew” myself, but “goy” says the exact same thing in Hebrew. It is in the Bible - how can you find that offensive?

Oh, BTW, from your Bible (King James version), Matthew 5:18 https://www.biblehub.com/matthew/5-18.htm:

“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Thus, according to the Jewish man you worship as God, the entirety of the Jewish Bible is 100% valid law for us, right now, yet you say that I and every other believing Jew for the last approximately 2,000 years has somehow failed to follow the law. You want to talk about offensive - well, your statement is a prime example of that.

“The Talmud lists the punishment for blaspheming the Ineffable Name of God as death. The sons of Noah are to be executed by decapitation for most crimes,[25] considered one of the lightest capital punishments,[26] by stoning if he has intercourse with a Jewish betrothed woman,[27] or by strangulation if the Jewish woman has completed the marriage ceremonies, but had not yet consummated the marriage.”
