This kind of stuff seems to keep happening, but then forgotten and brushed under the rug. Only the victims never forget. Nobody cares much as long as it is not their own relatives or friends.

From the Court Watcher's email list: A plea hearing has been set for:

Monday Oct. 7th at 9 am at the Pima County Superior court; courtroom 814 Judge Aragon.

If you are in town and can attend please do. At this hearing Jonathan will address the court and request that the plea be denied. We should not get our hopes up. The plea will likely be accepted and the case swept under the rug never to be heard of again. Daniel Brito will get probation and a felony that will turn into an misdemeanor in 3 years. This is our justice system.

Note: The misdemeanor charge will probably be vacated eventually.

Jonathan Sparks and his lawyer will be facing attacker Daniel Z Brito and his high-end tax-payer supported DNC lawyer, Judge Aragon and two "prosecution" lawyers - ALL of whom are against him. One prosecutor's heart is not in this miscarriage of justice but she is forced to go along.
