Ultimately these things always crash and burn against the Sixth Amendment right to confront your accuser. There is no way to put a camera on the stand so you can cross-examine it.

They rely on ignorance, or people just paying the fine rather than going through the hassle.

After having worked with RedFlex (they are a$$wipes) I am surprised they accepted that stipulation. Reporting it as bad debt is the only recourse they have.
