TRUMP IS RIGHT! China Is In Terrible Economic Condition; Cannot Afford to Lose the US Market

President Trump yesterday announced that the US will increase tariffs on China and then ordered all US firms to begin seeking alternatives to doing business with China!

The Chinese regime is in a lethal position and has only two choices.

The regime can either give the US what it wants or perish.

President Trump recognizes that China is in an all out war with the US in regards to information and economics. For years Western leaders have done nothing but negotiate into weak positions, never standing up to the Communist regime. Former US Presidents treated China like they did Russia 50 years ago, as their superior always giving them what they wanted and never standing up to their abuse and criminal acts.

It is different with President Trump. The President knows he has the authority and ability to inflict a fatal blow to the Chinese economy. The US is arguably in its best economic period in history while China’s economy is its weakest in 30 years.

And China’s intent on going to the Russians seems to already be falling apart.

And I think I remember reading that the Russians are having their own issues with their crops so selling to China may not take precedence over feeding its own.

We can’t afford to repay $22 trillion in national debt.

People are going to notice a multi-trillion dollar loss, even if carefully disguised as “low inflation”.

They’ll get by fine without selling stuff to us.

We have only about 7% of the world’s population.

We might make up about 18% of the world’s net market for stuff.

——What happens to China if the whole system fails?——

I give them credit for intellegence.

The crowds in Hong Kong unlike American ferals, do not riot and destroy. It seems they make their presence and desires known by massing in the streets.

You might think it a cop out, but I think China will muddle through.

American progressives worship diversity. In China there is so much diversity it is unimagineable. Ethnic, geographic, social, economic......it’s a wonder to me there is any cohesion at all.

It may be that they consider it a benefit.

Knowing the spin they would attempt to put on it, perhaps it is best they don’t report it.

As in any war - there are times and battles when it looks like our losses may not be worth it but when the smoke clears, in a war that needs to be waged, the victor ends up smelling pretty rosy.
Some of our “losses” (market will yo-yo as folks leverage for their own profits but will not crash) aren’t so much losses as changing of the lenses looking at the overall picture.
President Trump has them by the balls and like any commie regimes, they will make their own people squeal until the situation becomes untenable for them before coming to terms.

[China can crush peasant revolts]

Not always. Dynasties (Han, Ming and the current Red) formed by peasant revolts have ruled China for 1/3 of the last 2200 years since the Chinese imperial state was formed by Shih Huang-ti. And more than a handful have come within striking distance of the throne https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Zicheng https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Xiuquan . China seems unique in this respect. Away from China, battles for the throne were almost always conducted among aristocratic families.
