Trump is his own worst enemy. His going ballistic and being “insulted” because Denmark used the term “absurd” in declining his offer confirms his image of a foul-tempered, shoot from the hip, bully. His claiming that “absurd” is an insult is especially ironic coming from Trump who has used far stronger insults against almost everyone who disagrees with him.

I voted for him in 2016 and will do so again in 2020 because he is right on most issues. But he is a poor standard-bearer for conservatism and his jerk personality may result in a Democratic landslide in the 2020 elections.

Seriously? So you think Trump’s “poor performance” is what will ultimately sink him. Do you truly think crazy is a win for the left?

Ummmmmm......okaaaaay

Ain’t just the left who are crazy I guess

We all knew him just as he is, warts and all, before we voted in 2016......he’s no different now than he was then....just as he is! He has a sensitive Narcissistic Ego which will always require he fire back...and that’s not unusual for those like Trump. It goes with the package.

President Trump has never claimed to be a “conservative”.

In fact leading up to the 2016 election so many card carrying “conservatives” complained of that fact I personally quit referring myself as a “conservative”.

Too many people have their own definition of what it takes to be a “conservative” I doubt any two could agree on all post.

In America today voters get only two choices for President, either a Democrat or a Republican.

Will any candidate please everyone, of course not.

You have to decide which candidate you most agree with.

On major issues it should be easy.

Personally I do not allow the media to shape my opinion on President Trump - they tend to find something, take it out of context and exploit it for all their worth.

You, nor I, really know what is behind President Trump’s comments about Denmark but at this point in time I am willing to allow Trump to be Trump.

“...jerk” personality...”??? Finally, we have someone who will fight these uncivil lunatics. I guess you would prefer the light-in-the-loafers, turn-the-other-cheek, meek, weak loser personalities that the flaccid repub party is full of. How many repubs actively, openly support President Trump? If only these losers had a “jerk” personality. Winning! By the way...Is that you, yebbie?

.......

Yes, and General Grant was a drunk and ill-tempered.

I feel exactly about Trump as Lincoln felt about Grant.

“I can’t spare this man. He fights.”

AND IS WINNING, unlike our previous well-mannered presidents.

I prefer my POTUS to not be a gelding.
