WATCH: Dana Perino Reminds AOC Of One Important Tidbit About The Electoral College

In an Instagram post on Monday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said the Electoral College needs to be abolished. One of her main gripes with the system was its so-called "racism."

"The Electoral College has a racial injustice breakdown," AOC explained. "Due to severe racial disparities in certain states, the electoral college effectively weights white voters over voters of color, as opposed to a 'one person, one vote' system where all are counted equally."

She addressed the biggest concern behind abolishing the Electoral College: with populous blue states making the decisions for the country as a whole.

"You may have heard this Electoral College argument the most: that families in suburbs, cities must have their vote suppressed in order to give rural votes a 'fair shake,'" Ocasio-Cortez said. "Could you imagine if we had this kind of democracy-altering 'fairness' provision for literally any other group? If we weighted, for example, Black, Indigenous voters more because of fairness?"

According to Fox News host and former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino, the Electoral College is anything but racist. And the best part of her rebuttal: she reminds Ocasio-Cortez that President Barack Obama won the Electoral College...twice.

"Is the Electoral College is racist?" Tucker Carlson asked Perino.

"It's such a disservice to the institution, to the framers of our Constitution, and, for one, it's bad for civics education," Perino said, referencing AOC's comments about the Electoral College being racist.

"And, because she drives through a rural area of the United States, riving through flyover country, then she thinks it's okay to say that these people don't matter, that the people who live here don't matter," Perino explained. "We know there are rural parts of the country. There are micro centers. There are urban areas. There's all of these things. The Electoral College, no, it's not racist. Nobody said it was racist until recently. They didn't say it when Barack Obama won the Electoral College twice."

Even in the 1790s reasonable folks understood that counting millions of votes would be a mess and never the same result would be arrived at if recounted. Hence, Each state chose electors who, in accordance with state laws, voted for the president and vice president. As we see today, even with super computers and internet tools, we cannot do better regarding a count of millions of votes.... They truly were men of great reason and foresight. 435 votes distilled from a hundred million makes so much more sense. But then the left doesn’t seem to make much sense of much of any issue.

Funny you should mention that....

My choice for 2024 is Don. Jr.

I took note of him when he spoke on talk radio during the 2016 campaign. He’s a fighter, like his father.

He came here to Maine and visited a gun store and a gun range in 2016.

He said he likes to be in the fight, and I believe he is even more conservative than his father.

Eric is good. too. His wife Lara is a very effective speaker as well. She is very knowledgeable on the issues, and is very well-spoken and forceful. Eric and Lara also campaigned in Maine in 2016. She would make a good addition to the House or Senate.

As for Baron, he will be one tough dude in the future after seeing the crap that his father and mother have to deal with.

Someone once mentioned that Baron is Q, posting from the future. I had to chuckle when I saw that post.

It is highly possible. They were elected in off-year elections and got less than 25% of registered voters. The greatest percentage were left leaning partisans. In a Presidential the turnout should be higher.

AOC’s puppetmaster is gone so now she makes even less sense than before. She talks but does not think, which is why she is such a perfect parrot.

Yes. The Electoral College was designed to install men like George Washington and Donald Trump. It was not established for the likes of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.

The Framers' Electoral College.

Its like a scene from a football movie where a college professor is asked to explain things.... differently.

Cortez is a communist and communists want a global green government, hence the U.N. prototype in our era.

So given that Cortez follows the U.N., we ask Ms Cortez about the Zambian vote. There are 16 million Zambians. But there are 1400 million Chinese. If the Global Government stands on Universal Suffrage and collects a global tax... when it votes for a spending budget in the Global People’s Congress, will the overwhelming majority of Chinese Votes oppress the Zambian Votes? Is Zambia irrelevant and a smear under the boots of the majority? Indefinitely? Forever? RACISM.

Amusing. But tragic. No college student paper would publish what I just said.
