Sounds very cool
Just went to an airshow a couple of weeks back. They had 11 F4U corsairs flying. Doesn’t sound all that impressive until you realize there are only 22 in flying condition in the whole world.
I’ll be watching! There are also supposed to be the Navy’s Blue Angels joining them.
I keep checking The Thunderbirds and Blue Angels Show Listing for within driving distance to Us, Wifey has never seen an Air Show and it’s been a long time since I have caught anybody with The Sneak Pass.
Now I have to watch the nutwerk channels in the AM.
AIR SHOW PING !!!
WHEN: The mission will occur at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
I’m guessing that the nutwerk snewz TV and Fox snewz. I hope I don’t have to resort to the commie newz nutwerk.

Is that like a 3 second parade? Seriously.
Sorry to Post this, but:
Due to operational requirements, the U.S. Blue Angels will not be able to participate in the Hudson aerial parade on August 22nd. However, we are excited to announce that the F-22 Raptor Demo Team will be joining us, the Red Arrows and the F-35 Demo Team for this epic aerial display of teamwork and airmanship. See you soon, New York!
I’m bummed too.
Our tax $$$ that I don’t mind spending My share.
The article says the Blue Angels cannot make it due to operational requirements.
Something about the BA blowing them out of the water with their perfomenace at a joint air show. No idea what the BA could have done, but it pissed the TB off.
Very cool indeed.
Waste of time and fuel flying over a portion of NY that hates our armed forces.
So did I. Meeting of the Corsairs at Thunder over Michigan at Willow Run airport.
You were there, huh? Hell of a hot day. Burned my arms pretty bad.
I was there on Saturday. It was hot, but was a fun day.
I went on sunday. Still a lot of fun but my mobility issues made it kind of difficult.
