Nearly two years after Mayra Rodriguez sued the abortion provider Planned Parenthood for wrongful termination after she exposed negative health complications for women using their services, a jury awarded the Arizona woman $3 million in damages this past Friday.
Rodriguez worked for the abortion behemoth for 17 years. In 2017, she was fired by her employer "after repeatedly making claims that Planned Parenthood was endangering the health and safety of their patients," according to LifeNews.com Specifically, Rodriguez reported "high complication rates for one abortionist" and also "exposed the abortionists illegal conduct falsification of affidavits and patient records, incomplete abortions, and failure to report a minor who had an adult partner and was a victim of statutory rape."
Rodriguez, who ran three Planned Parenthood clinics in Arizona, turned to Abby Johnson's "And Then There Were None" non-profit. Johnson, herself a former Planned Parenthood director, started the non-profit to encourage women to leave the abortion industry and reveal the truth about the organization.
"When Mayra came to And Then There Were None with her incredible story, I felt solidarity with her, having gone through a similar situation when I worked for Planned Parenthood. Standing with her through the trial and rejoicing in the ultimate victory has been amazing," Johnson told LifeSite.com
"I hope my case is a lesson to other workers that shows them that the truth will prevail. I also hope my case is a lesson to employers who abuse their power: sometimes the underdog wins and justice will be done," Rodriguez told the press.

Congrats Mayra. May you live a long and happy life. I hope PP burn to the ground and beyond..
HOORAY Mayra Rodriguez!
DEFUND anti-life collectives, foreign and domestic.
“Rodriguez, who is an illegal immigrant, said the company tried to use her immigration status against her after the termination.”
This story does not get any better does it? I’ve posted stories in the past where PP was just itching to do abortions on the immigrants as they came in the door. Now this!
Wish it was 30 million.
Yea I thought the number was a bit low even by PP standards but hey will take even that amount. It will hurt them.
A $3M award to her during the time they lose their Title X funding!
PP takes it in the shorts 2x this week! No more Title X dollars and now a $3 million payout for a whistle blower.
You know I have noticed lately that our President is seeing very considerable success in many areas. I’m wondering if the investigations ongoing are having some effect on the slimy liberal weasels on the bench.
Time to take Planned baby murder Parenthood and shut them all down
Illegal alien here for at least 17 years working at Planned Parenthood. Seems like someone could sue them for that.
She needs to be invited to Trump’s next rally in Texas, Nevado, Arizona, or New Mexico. A story like this could flip the hispanic vote.
Yes which indicates to me the jury was not fond of the plaintiff.
With her courage coming forward as she did, even with the possibility she could’ve deported, I think she needs to move to the head of the line.
Now if someone sets fire to a PP clinic, guess whom the FIB will look to nail for it, based on this post. Gotta watch your back these days.
Yes, there is room for some grace. Just not 30 million times over. This particular lady should be given citizenship on the spot.
The movie unplanned has been released on dvd. Another blessing!
Order through Forty Days for Life and all proceeds will go to support this beautiful witness to the sanctity of all lives.
Proof that Planned Parenthood doesn’t care about women.
