There will be no civil war only unrest. Any centralized unrest will be stomped out like Tiananmen square so guerilla style tactics may be used. Perhaps. Or maybe there will just be an avalanche of FR posts and tweets.

Even assuming you have your gun, under what context would you use it? How would a civil uprising be organized? This isn’t like the war of 1861, where it was almost purely geographical. The least Republican state is still going to be 30% Republican (Massachusetts, California). The least Democrat state is still going to be 30% Dem (Utah, Idaho, Alabama)

I've long thought that if some strategic, selective, mysterious disappearances of lefty politicians, Hollywood types and media whores, had started a couple of years ago, it would not have to reach that point.

They start with Major Cities and move on State Government. 20 years this will be Soviet Socialist States of America. People will be escaping into Canada (until that nation is taken over). Canada will be a historic footnote by 2041.
It’s a long way until November 2020. There is absolutely no guarantee Trump will win and frankly, at this stage, he is more likely to lose due to the non stop negative press and his own style that turns many off. Trump does have a lot going for him and this time he will have a lot more money. I am more hopeful now than I was after November 2018. But, he has a tough road ahead of him.
