We can’t go on like this and expect to remain a nation much longer. North vs. South is not the form an Uncivil War will take. It will be more like the Balkans.
Can anyone imagine what it would be like for our economy to be engaged in an Uncivil War. It would crash and all the world would suffer.
Nobody on the left has thought this through. They can’t have. Nobody is that stupid.
We are no longer at odds about how to do things we mutually agree on. We simply do not agree on our direction as a nation. One side will not compromise and wants the other side to capitulate or die. The other side simply can’t, won’t and should not change their position because having done that for too long has brought us to this place of failure. If this course we are on reverses it will not be for the next 100 years. Reunification is impossible at this point and there is not a thing we can do but watch the speeding train heading toward us.
A civil war is meaningless unless the insurgents are able to hold territory and resources.
We could see multiple enclaves that weaken the federal government and create the conditions for other enclaves.
So, when we see inner city violence and the genesis of no-go zones and enclaves, or border enclaves dominated by narco-terrorists, the federal government would need to divert resources to deal with these disturbances.
Ironically, this could create conditions favorable to the rise of conservative and liberty minded autonomous regions.
Why can’t we have both?
Yes it does so we are living in a terrible marriage. Neither party will compromise or even entertain the notion. One side should not and the other will not. Neither side has come to the point of going nuclear because in spite of the pain the house is too comfortable and the money is still coming in.
An honest election will go to Trump.

It will be a war of terror and random assassination. Whether it would ever become anything like the 1860 war is certainly doubtful, but not impossible when casualties start..

A bad president might be just the perscription for waking people up like obama did to so many but not yet enough. We need honorable people who are on both sides, Jesus hasn’t given up hope for them so we cannot. Keep standing and pushing back until eyes are opened or Jesus calls to say “well done”. Pray for victory and Christ’s peace not man’s.
Government does not need to go door to door to collect guns. It just has to pass a tax on gun ownership of $100/month per gun they know you have ownership of, and let the IRS get the money by garnishing your salary and bank account like they do for any other sort of unpaid tax.
Then raise the tax every year.
If you challenge that you no longer own a gun they have you listed as owning on the 4473, then they will demand you tell them what happened to it.
Thereafter, if it turns out you lied and still have it (as evidenced by your divorcing wife turning it in for you while you are at work), you get another huge fine, with divorcing wife getting 50% as her bounty prize.
Notice, all this happens remotely from DC, with no federal employee coming to your door.
