Let’s say Cal said it was leaving. Do you think DJT would send in troops to stop it?? Actually I do because while it would pain him to do so, once something like that happens to a country it would continue until there were few states under the same flag. IMO, this is why sanctuary cities and the like should never have been allowed to do what they have been doing. The first one should have been suppressed. Now we have 20 or more cities deciding on their own immigration policy.
There is probably a large segment of society in China that is making a living enough to get food, clothes and roofs over their heads.
And another segment of middle class that was enjoying a prosperous existence.
And the government was not inclined to step on them while all was going good economically as they drained money from the West.
But as things get tougher and the Communist government pulls back the curtain to show the fist without the velvet glove people there and abroad are going to see what they are really all about.
