There is probably a large segment of society in China that is making a living enough to get food, clothes and roofs over their heads.
And another segment of middle class that was enjoying a prosperous existence.
And the government was not inclined to step on them while all was going good economically as they drained money from the West.
But as things get tougher and the Communist government pulls back the curtain to show the fist without the velvet glove people there and abroad are going to see what they are really all about.
That’s pretty much how I see it. And it’s a common tale. Everybody’s a nice guy when things are going great. It’s when things are not that people and organizations show their true colors.
