Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Saturday released an ambitious plan to combat gun violence that combines executive orders and congressional action with the aim of to reducing gun deaths by 80%. The plan comes amid renewed calls for gun control one week after mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, that left more than 30 dead.

Like Sens. Cory Booker, Kamala Harris and Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Warren wants a federal requirement that every gun owner undergo training and get a license.
Warren also proposed preventing people from buying more than one firearm a month and to increase the waiting period for purchases to one week. She also said she would push Congress to allow gun violence survivors to seek compensation from manufactures and deals who act negligently. The plan also calls for an assault weapons ban.

Being a “native American”, she should know what happened the last time the Indians surrendered their firearms to the government.
This is for Elizabeth Warren:

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Being part Tsalagi myself, I am disgusted by her so-called claim...
Elizabeth Warren is the long slow product of America’s bowel movement.
All this and have already been tried in Chicago and Mexico.
Maybe thats what needs to be said.
You forgot the matches part to light the fire.....lol
Be well !
Just doing what Nelson “Pete” Shields said he was going to to to make gun ownership totally illegal, one little step at time...

Im convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. Were going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily given the political realities going to be very modest.
Of course, its true that politicians will then go home and say, This is a great law. The problem is solved. And its also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.
So then well have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again. Right now, though, wed be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal total control of handguns in the United States is going to take time.
My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors TOTALLY ILLEGAL.

Yes, Im for an outright ban [on handguns].

HCI, around 1984, came out in favor of a ban on semi-auto rifles and shotguns.
She’ s had this gubmint pension on hwr mind if she doesnt advance theres a 50/50stay or go
Lieawatha is selling more guns each time she opens her mouth.
Would be great if the useless media would challenge her on the 2nd Amendment. Would be great if they would challenge her on WHY her plan would work. Much like the NY SAFE Act, it does nothing than other than trample on Constitutional rights.
Someone should ask her to define the word “infringe”.
Its meaning is very clear.
If the word “infringe” will be ignored in our Constitution, so will any other word.
If Trump entertains any type of gun control legislation, he will lose re-election. I don't want to hear any of this 3D crap either, this is a non-negotiable issue and Trump should have said so right after the shootings.
Warren is one of those far left morons who believes that all Americans who own guns are mass murderers who are responsible for “mass shootings” but she’ll flame your @$$ if you say that all Muslims who own a Koran are terrorists responsible for 9/11.
Like “natural born citizen” was ignored for the Kenyan from Indonesia.
In 1976, the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police published a position paper on firearms control that contained the comment “the registration of firearms, serializing and licencing will not act as a deterrent to violence and will not necessarily identify the person perpetrating the crime”. Would law enforcement organizations in the United States have similar sentiments to those remarks made in 1976?
Furthermore, the perpetrator of the mass shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand legally obtained his firearms licence, but according to local media reports there, he was able to do so without the home interview from police as required by New Zealand law and that he also provided online chatroom contacts as references. Will Senator Warren and others promise to make sure that such a licencing law will be always fully and consistently applied? Also, how much will licencing cost the American taxpayer and law enforcement in police man hours and tax dollars and will there be a proven benefit in reducing the criminal and tragic misuse of firearms with their proposals about all of this with those expenditures?
Spis lort og dø.
The GOP needs to get off its azz, remind Americans how vital the 2A is to our Liberty, and STOP this nonsense from the parasites on the left.
Where the hell is the GOP??
