Conversely we are seeing the extent of the deep state swamp in all of its naked glory because of Trump. The MSM swamp too.

Yes, but half those 700,000 were fighting for a new country which had the enslavement of certain human beings as its “cornerstone”. Now that was real racism.

In particular, I listen to the Dem candidates and wonder who they think they are persuading to vote for them that didn’t vote for Hillary. I think they are more worried about pre-empting the emergence of a Green/Marxist third party, which is highly likely if anyone sane gets close to the Democrat nomination.
