I’ve seen hardly any reports in the UK press regarding the identity of the victims at El Paso. Has this been reported in the US? I’m starting to wonder, whether the race of the victims doesn’t sit so well with the narrative?
if all she was concerned about us age and maturity level neither of those are illegal. it doesnt say she said anything about mental health
Amazing...
The FBI pooh-poohed and ignored complaints and warnings about the shooter in the Broward County school — more than once, I believe. It must happen often. Sometimes we dodge the bullets; sometimes we don’t. How hard would it be to at least check out these warnings?
If the mom didn’t mention “mentally ill”, of course the police didn’t do anything.
When people call in, they have to provide “a reason” why his owning the gun is a problem.
People could call in on any of us for owning a big old nasty weapon. Would we want the police knocking on our doors demanding to see our weapons?
Ah no...
How do you know the cops didn’t blow her off within 2 seconds and didn’t want to know the details? Today, the cops are claiming there’s no record of the call. Sounds like they’re covering their backsides.
I’ve yet to have a call taken seriously. Even with rock solid evidence, they can’t be bothered. A meth head camped out and refusing to leave get out of my fenced yard? Nope, can’t get there for a couple hours and he’ll be gone by then. Yes, we can hear the loud party through the phone but it’s almost dawn so they’ll be wrapping it up. Oh, that’s too bad a drunk ran through your fence but surely you can work it out between the two of you and you don’t know for sure he’s drunk. This past October - No, we don’t see any need to notify your neighbors of the 40 foot wall of flood water headed your way just because the next street over has police and firemen helping evacuate because that other street is out of our jurisdiction. Last week it was a credit card scammer using an emergency ID phone number and the police just laughed saying they always get reports of their number showing up on people’s phones. Always? Well, get up off your butts and #^&%_*$ put a stop to it!
Hey, brent, next time your sister turns up missing don’t you dare bother the police about her in less than 48 hours. Same goes for your 16 year old daughter who doesn’t show up at home after a date, doesn’t answer her phone and none of her friends can find her. Oh, she’s just a teenager and that’s what teens do. Oh, your sister must have ran off with her secret boyfriend without a goodbye to her 3 little kids. Your lunatic brother in law who has a history of hit lists buys a gun and is angry with the world? The cops will blow you off because he’s a grown adult and he hasn’t harmed anyone YET. So what if you suspect your neighbor is beating his wife because until she shows up in the ER with a bloody face and a video of the blows and files a report, there’s nothing to be done. There’s your Constitutional Rights.
“If”
Guess we’ll never know because today the cops are claiming there is no record of the call. It’s he said, she said. I can’t call the tv cable company without a being informed the call is being recorded. Funny how that isn’t done with regular police calls.
This is her attorney's version. It is not the police version.
Did the son live in her house? If so, I think I’d have made the gun “disappear” if there was that much concern over it.
Their pension performance improved!
She might have called 311 or a local police non-emergency number. Or maybe the report is wrong and she called the state police (TX DPS).
