Open Carry is legal in Virginia, and always has been.

Active Shooter at the USA Today building

= = =

They misspelled ‘shooter.’

Too many o’s and missing one ‘i.’

With that said, the USA Today building is always full of shooters.

Do you have a better cite than that? That leads to something else entirely for me.

Private party... Private rules. But the officer should have explained to them that a finger nail scraper or letter opener “is not considered a legal weapon”. It is only codified as a “weapon” if it is more than 4 inches long concealed, or more than 12 inches long “open carry” in most states.

In fact in most states an “antique firearm” is not even considered a controlled lethal weapon. Warped “perspective” and “officer’s discretion” through false legal code indoctrination is the problem here. They do not educate officers to the the legal rights of citizens anymore.

They will never stop harping about Trumps “enemies of the people” comments if this is true.

If you do not know how t use your 3 inch pocket knife as a weapon you need a better imagination or better training

And, if something should happen to go down INSIDE the venue, one person with a 3-inch knife can make a difference in the number of injured.

*cough* Epstein arrested *cough*

A: As many as it takes.

Under those conditions, I was behind an active shooter at Chipotle the other day: a cop waiting to order with his Glock holstered at his hip.

Like I just posted on another thread, we Trump supporters are fat and happy. Just had two great weeks. Were coasting to a sure victory. And then bam. We are supposed to be angry and attacking. Yeah. Right. You probably wont be finding many Trump supporters storming Area 51. Lol.

I agree, In fact even in Ca they could “reserve the right to refuse service” but not the right to prevent public access and remove you without “shutting down the whole event from the public” to legally do it. Been there, Had a business in Ca for almost 50 years and know this as a fact. I could not have someone removed from my “open for business” property unless I “closed to the public as a whole” first. I am sure this is similar in most states, especially if the event was on public tax payer’s property.

Not the point... The point is whether the state even considers it as a controlled weapon or not. Until then it is not a weapon by code. Of course it can be, so can a rolled up paper magazine, but until you are guilty of using as such it is just a paper magazine.

ABSOLUTELY! Innocent until proven guilty is supposed to start at the very moment of interaction or detainment. It used to, I remember when it still did.
