Fox News host Tucker Carlson claimed on his show "'Tucker Carlson Tonight" Tuesday that white supremacy is a "hoax" and "actually not a real problem in America."
A racist manifesto complaining about a "Hispanic invasion" was posted online by a writer identified as the suspected gunman before the El Paso mass shooting Saturday.
Trump condemned racism and white supremacy Monday during an address to the nation after the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton over the weekend. "These sinister ideologies must be defeated," he said. "Hate has no place in America."
In his segment, Carlson dismissed the issue of white supremacy as "a lie" as he defended the president.

Are there white supremacists in America. Sure. Are they a significant threat to the lives and welfare of minorities? No way. Violent crime statistics support me on this. A young black man is far more likely to be murdered by another black man than a white supremacist.
However, one additional point. The left probably calls it white supremacy if one doesn’t accept the notion that all whites are evil, privileged oppressors. If that’s the case, there are probably tens of millions of “white supremacists” in America, in much the same way that all conservatives are “racists.”
