One day after CW president Mark Pedowitz addressed whether his network would cease filming of signature series like Black Lightning in Georgia, ABC’s president of entertainment Karey Burke found herself in the hot seat.
“It’s an open issue,” said Burke of whether ABC would film in the state after controversial legislation passed in May that would restrict a woman’s access to abortion about six weeks into pregnancy. “This law is being challenged right now in the courts. We will just wait to see what’s decided and make a decision.”
Burke fielded questions at the Television Critics’ Association press tour about how the law might impact current and future programming on the heels of Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger’s statements last spring that it would be “very difficult” for the company to do business in Georgia, should the law go into effect next year.

Disney and Disney owned ABC have “difficulty” dealing with pro life Georgia. Yet they have absolutely no problem dealing extensively with China. The very same China that herds Muslims into concentration camps, overtly persecutes Christians, shoots prisoners to harvest and sell their organs, forces women to have abortions and tramples the political rights of Hong Kong despite treaty commitments. Simply cannot Disney seriously.

I haven’t watched the alphabet networks since I’ve had DirecTV-over 25 years-I don’t know anyone out here who does-so many other choices available...

Well, I don’t know if I’m willing to go that far with Disney. Believe it or not, it actually used to be conservative back when Walt and to a certain extent Roy were running the joint.
That said, Disney and ABC definitely needs a firm cleaning up and being restored to true greatness. Well, Disney anyways. I suspect that even before the Disney acquisition, ABC was chock full of leftists, what with the likes of Peter Jennings and all of that.
