ohboy
IMF sanctions?
China was coming up for review within the WTO on its status as a developing country (lots of trade advantages there).
It is good that they behave badly between now and then.
Trying to disarm China of its devaluation weapon, so tariffs can do their work?
And the good people of China are revolting.
“No matter how poor I am, I’m always rich at The Dollar Store!” ~ Some Smart@ss :)
China is probably really worried now. What’s next — double secret probation?
Next we may fart in their general direction.
What exactly are the implications here?

While I trust Trump and his advisors, I really dont know what the actual impact of this ruling will be.
But in any case, our very own Federal Reserve Board Money Printing Company has a lot of experience in this area.
Anybody remember:
Silver Dollars
Silver Dimes
Silver Certificates
Copper pennies, not copper coated steel.
The nickel cup of coffee
$.75/hr minimum wage.
I could go on. Inflation is simply The Fed printing money whenever they feel like it and then loaning it out to banks and governments.
What a business. I wish I could earn interest on money I created out of thin air.
But somehow this doesnt qualify as currency manipulation.
Raise interest rates.....?
Call in the debt....?
Well - with the currency lowered we can buy back their currency at a discount.
WTO action?
On the road to expulsion?
I doubt it. The multi-national corporations and our “allies” have China’s back on this one. It’s POTUS against the world, basically.
“China can’t feed itself”
Well, they can always make Soylent green.
They might be inferior militarily but they are in a better poised to take Taiwan and they are allied with Russia, and Iran which would divert US forces to the ME.
Good move.
“IMF sanctions?”
I have doubts that group of scumbags hate China more than the USA. Well not until a Democrat is back in the White House.
Shame on you, you told the truth. /s Well said.
Sorry, I am totally out of my depth with this financial situation.
They could nationalize all the factories we have over there.
So it is OK to be concerned ?
In other words, they would become like all Chinese factories...:)
