President Jair Bolsonaro argued Sunday for his signature policy of relaxing gun control measures, saying they will not stop mass shootings such as those that left 29 dead in the US over the weekend.
"Disarming people isn't going to keep that from happening," Bolsonaro said.
"Brazil is, on paper, extremely unarmed; and a similar thing has already happened here in Brazil," Bolsonaro told reporters in Brasilia.

He’s right.
Brazil is unique and you have to really review the environment, the type of crime, and the level of gang threat to the common man on the street. There are some areas in Rio where you rent a terrific apartment, and part of the rent coverage is for two or three armed guys who walk the parameter and ensure the safety of your family. Chicago won’t even match up to the level of violence you see there.
It also wont stop violence. Some idiot just threw a kid off the Tate museum viewing platform like the nut job at that Mall

So, some bureaucrat decides someone needs their guns seized and they go and take them. I assumed they are talking about those people that have registered guns because how else would they know they have them. If the person is that dangerous, what prevents the person from going and getting another gun illegally?
