Did Qatar Funnel Money To Democrats Through Ex-congressman?
Front Page Magazine ^ | 28 July 2019 | Daniel Greenfield

An interesting new twist in the ongoing debate over Qatari influence in American politics. Qatar is an Islamic state sponsor of terror with close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

In the summer of 2018, congressman-turned-lobbyist Jim Moran was trying to recruit his former colleagues to put pressure on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moran was doing so on behalf of one of his clients, the government of Qatar. And he had a pot of money, left over from years of donations to his reelection campaigns, that he could steer to his lobbying targets.

Throughout June and July, Moran, a “senior legislative advisor” at the firm McDermott Will & Emery, reached out to at least a dozen House and Senate members of both parties as part of the effort. He provided them with suggested text for the letter, which he hoped the legislators would send to the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. urging him to ease travel restrictions between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

One of the congressmen Moran pitched was Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL). On June 15, 2018, Moran’s assistant emailed Crist’s chief of staff with a draft letter they hoped the congressman would send under his name. Moran’s staff even followed up with suggested edits.

Crist obliged. On June 20, he sent a letter to the Saudi ambassador that lifted huge portions verbatim from Moran’s suggested language.

Jim Moron and Charlie Crist.

Two peas in a pod, whose word doesn’t mean a thing.

That whole region as been bribing Americans for years... it’s disgusting.

Legal bribary for the most part - the “jump up and down three times and whistle dixie backwards” and BOOM - a bribe becomes ‘legal’..

Got that right. The oil state Arabs have a talent for bribery and corruption that is unmatched which they combine with an ability to invest their bribery in a long game strategy that takes decades to bear fruit.

As a result of Arab co option of Europe’s political, financial, academic, military and business elite the Arabs have defacto control of the EU and outright ownership of much of its strategic assets. It’s as impressive as it is frightening to see what they have been able to accomplish.

They pretty much closed the deal on Europe during the Obama Administration and they are now focusing their efforts on doing the same to the United States. We my just owe the frackers more than we will ever know

Hillary’s State Department was running interference for the Muslim Brotherhood all over the middle east. I doubt it was out of the goodness of their hearts.

Arabs consider us dirty - and they think the way we do bribes (with book deals and speeches etc. etc.etc.) is disgusting. Many an Arab has complained about having to hire people to sit in a room and listen to an American give a speech so the money handed over isn’t considered a bribe.

Hillary had a hard time filling a room in the United States for her speeches because she’s so boring. Same with her grifter husband - but neither of them had a problem selling their ‘speeches’ to Arabs for $500,000 for a 40 minute ‘talk’...

Think about it... it was the same for military contractors etc. Of course there was grumbling - every American down to ‘nothings’ wanted in on it... some low level types didn’t realize it was bribery...

We don’t have clean hands...

Moran was one of the nastiest pols ever to serve in Congress. He ran a close second to John McCain.

Agree with everything you say more than you can imagine. The Arabs have definite sense of honor which, as warped and situational as it might be, they follow. Many are absolutely disgusted and appalled at the fecklessness and banality of western politicians as well as by how cheaply and casually they are willing to sell out their countries and fellow countrymen by acts that often rise to the level of outright treason.

That said, the Arabs have openly sought out these types of pols and backed their political careers from their earliest days to groom them for higher office. They have provided both the financial and political backing to steer their cadres of compromised leaders into positions where these leaders can influence policy to the benefit of their behind the scenes masters.

US Dept of Ed Investigating Georgetown U and Texas A&M's ties to Qatar (and the Chinese technology firm Huawei)
Daily Caller ^ | 7/8/2019 | Luke Rosiak / FR Posted on 7/8/2019, 11:57:37 PM by bitt

The Dept of Education opened an investigation into both colleges, demanding to know what steps they took to ensure they weren’t taking funds linked to terrorism. Qatar’s neighbors say the oil-rich state funds terror and meddles in other countries’ governments. President Donald Trump is meeting with the country’s ruler Tuesday. President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Qatar’s ruler as the U.S. Department of Education is investigating two American universities over their ties to the Middle Eastern nation and to determine what administrators did to ensure they didn’t take money linked to terrorism.

The schools, Georgetown and Texas A&M universities, are also connected to the suspected Chinese espionage firm Huawei, to a Chinese propaganda outfit known as Confucius Institute. The Education Department fired off tough letters to the presidents of both universities, saying “whenever it appears an institution has failed to comply with the law, the Secretary of Education may request the Attorney General commence an enforcement action to compel compliance and to recover the full costs to the United States of obtaining compliance, including all associated costs of investigation and enforcement.”

“To meet our statutory duty, the Department has opened an administrative investigation of your institution and requests production of these records within thirty days,” the June 13 letters continued. Both universities have taken hundreds of millions of dollars in cash linked to Middle East governments. The Education Department demanded records showing whether the universities complied with the law by scrutinizing whether any of the money they were taking came from sources who “engage in, or provide material support” for people who violate certain anti-terrorism laws. According to the IBT report, “at least seven foreign governments received State Dept clearance for American arms AND are on-record as donors to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was Secy of State.” Oman and Qatar were named as countries favored for arms sales by Hillary's State Dept.

CIRCA 2002--THE OMAN-QATAR-CLINTON CONNECTION---
The Clinton Foundation took $1,250,000 (that we know of)
from Mideast kingdom--Qatar---(recently exposed as embroiled in FIFA bribery). The Clinton presidential library in Arkansas lists Brunei, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar as donors that gave between $1 million and $5 million (at the time of research). The Clinton foundation itself confirmed the 2002 Brunei donation: "The Clinton Foundation's impact would not be possible without the generous support of our donors," the foundation's website reads. "Their contributions have made a difference in the lives of tens of millions across the world." Read more at foxnews.com ...

==============================================

Qatar became the new home of the Gitmo Five via the infamous Obama-Bergdahl swap. Hillary later told Fox's Greta Van Susteren that Qatar was "not a threat to the US." Hillary never mentioned Qatar subsidizing the Clinton Library/Foundation. Hillary's remarks lead some to believe the donation was a payoff....Hillary bribed to defend Qatar....blatantly ignoring America's ntl security interests.

=====================================================

LAUGH BREAK The Clinton Presidential Library bills itself as "linking the significance of
a 20th century American presidency with the ongoing
and far-reaching work of The Clinton Global Foundation. (waiting for hysterical laughter to die down) No mention of Clinton being impeached and disbarred for lying.

REALITY CHECK Despite its grandiose self-promotion, The William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park----is just another "Clinton Cash" snake pit.....subsidized by taxpayers,....and some shady foreign characters.

Hillary the Arms Dealer
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/27/15 | Matthew Vadum / FR Posted by Sean_Anthony
Clinton Foundation donations funded State Dept approval of arms shipments to repressive governments. During the time Hillary Clinton was America’s Secy of State, she oversaw approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations.....governments that forked over millions of dollars to the now-embattled Clinton Foundation. According to an International Business Times report by David Sirota and Andrew Perez, “at least seven foreign governments that received State Department clearance for American arms did donate to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary.” The article identified the seven nations as Algeria, Australia, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, and Thailand.

Mainstream media’s surprisingly probing coverage of the unfolding Clinton Foundation donations-for-favors scandal suggests that reporters have turned on the Clintons in the age of Obama. And the fact that the IBT piece was co-authored by Marxist author and radio talk show host David Sirota adds to the growing pile of evidence that some of the more ideologically pure progressives in the Democratic Party are ganging up on Mrs. Clinton in order to help as yet undeclared presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).(Excerpt) Read more at canadafreepress.com ...
